Rest day to day and I didnโ€™t post at all yesterday about training. I also didnโ€™t record it so no footage to show. Had to work up to heaviest set of 6-8 reps at 40 kg for bench. A few days ago I got 7 though only 6 were paused. Rep 7 was touch and go. Last night @warehousegym32 though I got 8 paused reps. So making progress slowly. Thanks to @fuller.greta for spotting me during my last two sets โ˜บ๏ธ

In the zone at @thewodapalooza 2018 ๐Ÿ‹๏ธ๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ It was a fantastic experience to be at the fitness festival this year for a few reasons:
1. I recently joined a Crossfit box so it was fascinating to see the top athletes around the world compete
2. It gave me the opportunity to shoot different workouts that I havenโ€™t shot before
3. Reminded me that I still have a ways to go to participate in these events as an athlete ๐Ÿ˜…

-A Big Misconception- "If I don't leave the gym all sweaty, or feel absolutely f***ed after a workout, It hasn't worked"

This is one thing as a trainer, I wish people would get out their heads.
Yea, its ok to push beyond your limits, but doing this to much to often can do more harm than good, and possibly lead to further injury.

You can still get the results by training 'SMART'! If you noticed, I used the word smart, not hard, anyone can train hard right?!
Their goes that saying "its a marathon, not a sprint".
In basic terms, you go hard too early, you'll burn out, and wont reach your goal.

You can spend hours in the gym, on that treadmill, or cross trainer, but who wants to spend those precious hours on a boring machine, looking like someone trying to run to the shop to get the last loaf of bread.
Use that precious time to focus on the bodies movement, technique, working on flow and consistency, rather than a total beasting every session, and still have gas in the tank at the end....oh and another thing, you can workout for under an hour and still get results :) Technique and movement is everything, with that you'll be naturally stronger, fitter, and more relaxed<(well to an extent)
