I get a lot of messages with questions on how I’ve changed my body etc. I’m really not as ignorant as I might come across 🙈 I genuinely don’t mind answering people’s questions & giving out advice.
So here’s the first thing you should know; what you’re eating is very important, you CANNOT out-train a bad diet! Train your ass off everyday in the gym, but if you’re eating like a pig, you’re wasting your time.
You need to be eating LESS food. (More if you’re trying to gain weight, State the obvious huh) I personally use ‘My Fitness Pal’ to track my calories. Copying someone else’s macros & calories will not necessarily benefit you, we all have different stats etc. There are plenty of things online you can use to calculate the calories you’d personally need to reach your goals!
And then there’s training!! I weight train at least 4-5 times a week, also throwing in some cardio at the moment. People use the word ‘toned’ a lot, how can I get ‘toned’ like you. Basically... Being toned is cutting away fat to reveal muscle definition (gaining muscle if you have none)!? Lol. People always say things like ‘I don’t want to be too muscly’ 😩🔫 those people have nooo idea how hard it is to gain muscle 🤦🏽‍♀️ (don’t worry it isn’t going to happen, you’ve more chance of wining the lottery)
Lastly, don’t expect it to be easy! There is no ‘secret’ or ‘magic pill’!! It’s HARD bloody work changing your body, I still have days where I just want to skip the gym, & lay in bed surrounded in sweets & bread 🤤😂 ... I still have days when I look at my body like ‘guuuurl why you soo chunkyyyy still’ but in all honestly if you had shown me this body (yes my body) a year ago, I would’ve been like hell yeahhh ‘GOALS’ 🙈
The one thing I love most about it all; it’s SO rewarding... You can’t buy self discipline, consistency & determination 🤷🏽‍♀️👌🏽 ____________________________________
