1. In a recent stretch without Lonzo Ball, the Lakers went 0-5; Ball returned and the Lakers dropped a game, then won 4 straight.
2. Lonzo Ball is not expected to play tomorrow.
3. The Lakers are 27th in the NBA in opponents PPG (although the Magic and Pelicans are 28th and 29th, and the Celtics just lost to both of them).
4. Los Angeles in 3rd in the NBA in rebounding.
5. Tomorrowโ€™s game will be broadcasted on TNT, and if you live on the East Coast... it starts at 10:30 P.M.

My Top 5 Centers include:
1. DeAndre Ayton who is the most complete player in the draft. With an above perfect grade, he has a lot to live up to. Dominant strength, size and power in the post. Also able to get up sone deep shots without hesitation.
2. Mo Bamba who is long, lean and aggressive. Great rim protector with a developing jumpshot. To me, he is a future elite center just based on his size and instincts alone.
3. Robert Williams is a fairly all around player who can defend the low post but occasionally spread the court on offense. Not an elite scorer, but does what need be to win.
4. Mitchell Robinson who does not attend college currently, and my sample size for grading him was very small. But in what I saw, I saw a true big with a mindset of a stretch 4. Always knows where the ball is and how to get his hands on it.
5. Brandon McCoy who has the premiere NBA size and strength. Putting up solid scoring and rebounding numbers have given him an edge over many. Solid on boards and a solid big, working on new advanced shot taking. -

Should Jaylen Brown be in the Dunk contest? Leave feedback!

@mettaworldpeace37 was a 6-6 small forward who had a stellar #NBA career for 17 seasons playing for the @chicagobulls, @pacers, @sacramentokings, @houstonrockets, @nyknicks and the @lakers.

Coming out of @stjohnsbball where he averaged 13ppg, 6rpg, 3apg, 1bpg and almost 2spg, the then known as Ron Artest was taken with the 16th overall pick in the 1999 #NBADraft by the Bulls.

An NBA #champion in 2010, an NBA All-Star in 2004 as well as NBA Defensive Player of the Year in the same year, Metta World Peace will go down as one of the game's greatest defensive-minded players.

Atlanta Hawks Monday Mock Draft - Jan. 22, 2018

Pick No. 2 - Mohamed Bamba (Texas, C)

Mo Bamba is a freak of nature, standing 7โ€™1โ€ tall, with a ridiculous 7โ€™9 wingspan, heโ€™s averaging a double-double with more than 4 blocks per game, and the production has begun to match the potential. Bamba blocks shots effortlessly, and can reasonably defend all five positions at his size. How much his offensive skills evolve remains the wild card in the equation. The best possible version of Bamba could alter a franchiseโ€™s fortunes. Worse-case scenario, heโ€™s a multiple time All-Team Defene player throughout his career. However with Coach Budโ€™s track-record in player development, I think he would turn Bamba into a superstar.

Pick No. 25 (via MIN) - Dzanan Musa (Bosnia & Herzegovina, SG)

Dzanan Musa is an aggressive, 6โ€™9โ€ scoring wing player who shoots well from the outside and can attack effectively off the dribble. Heโ€™s an improving playmaker and has stood out with an advanced Basketball IQ, but heโ€™s very ball-dominant and his body leaves something to be desired. Heโ€™s thin, lacks ideal length and heโ€™s not much of a defender, either. But Musaโ€™s natural ability to put the ball in the basket helps set him apart as one of the top international prospects.

Pick No. 28 (via HOU) - Isaac Bonga (Germany, SF/PG)

An oversized ball-handler and talented, instinctive passer, Bonga is one of the youngest players in the draft and has nice upside given his unusual skill set. If he had a consistent jumper heโ€™d likely be talked about more in the context of the mid-first round. Standing 6โ€™10, with a 7โ€™3 wingspan, Bonga is unselfish and has a promising skill set, with a smooth handle and the ability to cover lots of ground with long strides. Bonga is still learning the game, but is the type of high-risk, high-reward dice roll that makes a lot of sense as a developmental piece. (Continued in comments)

This season I think the 76ers just need to rework his shot completely. Have him start close and move back. Donโ€™t have him taking a bunch of threes with where his shot is right now, especially if it could reinflame his shoulder injury.
