We had 28 participants In our monthly Transformational Breath(R) circle yesterday at wheatsheaf hall.

Over the months, since they come to the group regularly, I felt so honoured and blessed to witness progress in their breath patterns and in the way they express their emotions.
Each of our participants’ breathing pattern was checked, so that they can use 80percent their lung capacity for an optimal physical health.
On an emotional level, opening of restricted breathing pattern helped them to release repressed trauma memories, thought patterns and emotions from their unconscious for permanent integration. As a result, they felt lighter and clearer after their breath session.

On a spiritual level, they had an opportunity to have a better connection with themselves and have new insights and understanding of their current feelings and behaviours.
Until we see them next month on the 24th of February, they will practice it for 5mins a day.

Thank you so much to @saniyearslan1, @jessielaute and Lisa for their great facilitation and dedication. Love you all and so grateful for your support.

#cglas #materials session @tate on Tuesday - charged with selecting a single piece of work in which the materials connect with my own practice and thinking. I chose this Ana Lupas The Solemn Process. 1964 - 2008
Steel, straw, wire mesh installation of twenty-one metal sculptures of varying dimensions and forms and two wall vinyls, each displaying a grid of forty sepia-toned images. The failure of the artwork in its original concept of ‘infinite dimension’, made collectively and expanded infinitely over time and space to preserve the traditional collective rituals of rural Transylvania, is as much its strength and what appeals to me most about it critically. The transition from one material to another:straw to metal, organic to industrial, concept to actuality, practically and metaphorically mirrors the time frame of the work (1968-2008). From lost collective rituals and celebrations of plenty, through dissuasion and slow deterioration, to the preservation of an object as museum relic; what is left is encased in an impenetrable metal shell providing the illusion of its presence. Symbolically religious and political dogmas preserve the relics of the past while the insistence on progress traps hope and organism to rot from within. Canning the artefacts of collective endeavour and farm working, as if food for the future, except that what is being preserved here has already degraded and it is just the remaining encased fragments that we are faced with. By protecting the artwork, the fragments “as relics of a lost process” represent the evolutionary stages and loss both in the real world and in the object of art. #environmentalart #time #timecapsule #dogma #ritual #harvestfestival #construction #transformation #industrialfarming #collective #relic #traditional #ural #document #archive #encasement #sarcofagus #wheatsheaf

A selection of the assembled farm tractors on the busy car park at the Jolly Threshers pub at Lymm Cheshire.
In this first picture of the ford tractor with the teddy bear mascot, accidentally features a picture of my son Nigel who had surprisingly just turned up and arrived at the event, stood intently looking down with interest at a adjacent classic car in the car park .
The vintage tractors always contribute to a good colourful display, the huge working farm machines and the vintage tractors they have superseded.
I like filming the tractors in the ring events as they drive around the arena, each given a detailed description of their model by the commentators
The lads in the tractor fraternity are very keen to drive and display their pride and joy, the following day after this event 125 of them were scheduled to assemble at the local garden centre at High Lea for their annual road run outing.
Unlike the classic cars or some steam engines, the drivers of most vintage tractors have no cab or canopy protection, and prove a hardy lot driving the tractors in all adverse weather conditions.
Keen to show off the tractors, they play a prominent part in most steam traction engine rallies, tractor numbers at some events can be quite huge. At the local Transport event held annually at Kelsall near Chester, an event organised by Geoff Newsome and his partner Marie we often see as many as 250 tractors gathered together attending this superb event.
Kelsall rally has now been developed under Geoff and Marie’s guidance into one of the country’s leading Transport festivals. Held on Geoff’s Home and family farm, with his personal interest in commercial vehicles his event attracts approx 600 vintage, classic and modern commercial vehicles to each years event.
A huge gathering, a huge achievement and a credit to this couples dedication supported by their family

The Tom Barlow 2017 Annual Boxing Day road run.
Well supported as usual by a fine array of vintage tractors, all polished up and presented on display at the event.
All types of tractors make up to contribute to the event procession,A blue Fordson Dextra, A Massey Ferguson. A red and cream Ford Powermaster 960 reg No. 370 XUF completes the line up.
This combination of pictures were taken at the car parks of the two last venues The Wheatsheaf Inn and also the last port of call at the Ye Olde No 3.

Following the arrival of the Mc Laren engine at the Wheatsheaf Inn, it was closely followed by the Aveling and Porter roller of the Dibnah family.
Space now coming a premium in the car park which bye now was rather full, Roger decided to confidently reverse the engine into the pub car park making it easier for departure and in good practice eliminating the need to reverse out backwards onto the main highway.
Betsy cruised back into a neat parking position between the other steam engines.passing Wait and See against the gable wall ready to leave.
The Boxing Day weather had held out, it was still fine but the sun was sinking fast, and it was becoming distinctly cooler.
All as usual “Betsy” was in tip top appearance, with shiny brasses and gleaming polished paintwork,a tribute to Roger maintaining the family engine to his late father “Fred’s” exceptionally high standards.

This short video shows the Mc Laren steam engine approaching the second port of call. Arriving along the main road having left the Jolly Thresher pub, The engine makes a tight left hand turn to access the entrance of the rear car park to the Wheatsheaf Inn
In the capable hands of the skilled driver, Roger Dibnah making an experienced rolling entrance, passing “wait and See”parked across the gable end of the pub, ready to escape and make its departure to the third pub venue at Ye Olde number 3.
Of recent years Ye Olde number 3 has been the finishing point for the event before the engines and exhibitors all disperse and head for Home.
In earlier days I attended this annual event. It used to include a visit to a fourth pub venue down the near bye narrow lane,. This pub was known as the Swan with two nicks, and always featured a display in the car park from a very colourful band of agile Morris dancers.
I can only assume that the visit to this venue was discontinued due to the congestion in the narrow lane and the lumbering traction engines getting stuck.

On the opposite side of the yellow Burrell’s canopy we see the show lands original advertisement for “Crowther & Johnson’s flying pigs on tour”
Here we see the Charles Burrell engine taking a break, whilst the crew enjoy a natter and beverage refreshment at the second port of call the Wheatsheaf Inn.
The unique yellow colour of this engine simply glowing in the low mid day wintery sun.
After a short twenty minute break “wait and see” departs and leads the procession of vehicles to stop number 3. Which as coincidence would happen to be the final pub to visit known as “The olde Number 3” Which sits alongside the local narrow Bridgewater canal, with traditional barges and pleasure craft moored on the canal bank to the rear.
