Tonight's run took me over 2000 miles for 2017.
This year I have hit all my running goals, 16 min 5k, 34 min 10k and 1.16 for Half Marathon.

I've had the privilege of racing against fantastic runners at some great races.

YOUR COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE... Day 14 - The Routine
.
Here we're combining a few of the previous challenges into a heart raising routine of control!
.
The half squat position is your start and finish of each rep
.
Move through the inch worm to the high plank position
.
Maintain the position of the hips with abs engaged and lower down to low plank (on elbows)
.
Push back up to high plank without losing form
.
Shift weight to right arm and twist slowly from the thoracic spine, reaching up to ceiling and look at hand. Return to high plank.

And the same on the other side
.
From high plank, 'Inch Worm' bach to squat

First was the @manchestermarathon #manchestermarathon where the asics frontrunners meet for the first time, and my marathon pb @ 3.50

Second was the @great_run #bristolhalf where is pushed my body to the limit and again pb @1h34 .

And lastly @virginsport #oxfordhalf where after 5km I got my stress fracture and ended my running for the past 2.5months .

This #transformationtuesday post has to be, for me my biggest accomplishment in running.

Left - Bristol half marathon to Right -Cardiff half marathon. A massive PB by 20 mins in 12 months. The difference in my running during this period has actually surprised myself. Always had so many self doubts and not enough confidence to push forward. But I've worked hard and stayed committed even after some real low runs, in which I wanted to quit running all together as I felt I didn't deserved to be called a runner. ✨ .

Put your mind to it and it will fall into place, just be patient. 🌈 .

Bristol half marathon completed in 2:04 this Sunday! πŸ₯‚πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘ŠπŸ» Really pleased with my time, only 10 mins slower than my PB so a big πŸ–•πŸ»πŸ–•πŸ»πŸ–•πŸ» to my PCOS that has given me an extra 10kg to carry around the entire 13.1 miles over the past year. Well 13.1 miles has never seemed like a such a 'walk in the park'
Bristol half done and dusted in 2hrs 4mins & 4secs, needless to say it's taken me 2 days to recover!
Many thanks to those who donated to my Just Giving page (and those who donated direct) for the the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, although I was some way off the total every bit helps towards curing a horrible illness.
