W niedzielny poranek miałem okazję wystartować w Survival Race w Warszawie na dystansie Machine 12 km + 50 przeszkód - osobiście naliczyłem max 40...😮 Tylko jednej przeszkody nie udało się zaliczyć - wysokiej na 4 m rampy😒 Fantastyczna dobrze oznaczona trasa crossowa - typowo survivalowa, która biegła przez las Bielański i nadwiślańskie okolice, dużo krzaków i wiele leżących konarów drzew. Trasa bardzo mi przypasowała do gustu 👌👍 Biegło mi się znakomicie 😊 2 zabawne "przeszkody"(?!) Strzał z procy fasolką w wiaderko😂 Przejście przez namiot, w którym grała muza techno 🎛️🎵 z wytwornicą dymu i stroboskopami, w środku nie było zupełnie nic widać😂 Zajebisty konferansjer, który prowadził rozgrzewki 👏😎 no i fajny medal.
To by było na tyle z pozytywów🙄
Słyszałem wiele opinii o tym biegu i faktycznie organizacja leży😨
▪️ otwarcie biura zawodów na 45 min przed 1 falą, ogromne kolejki do biura przez cały czas trwania zawodów
▪️3 toi toie na cały teren
▪️wolontariusze bez przeszkolenia, chyba z łapanki, bez pojęcia o niczym nie potrafili odpowiedzieć na żadne pytanie
▪️na wielu przeszkodach nikt nie pilnował🤔 w efekcie widziałem jak parę osób omijało przeszkodę...
▪️ SZCZYT obciachu i żenady to dekoracja zwycięzców na dystansie 24 km, wywołano przypadkowych gości na podium i wręczono im nagrody, mimo protestów 😱😵😡

Day 8 is in the books! Not sure I'm overly in love with tonight's supper. Brown rice with streamed zucchini and pinto beans. I love all the items but the flavouring maybe wasn't my jam? Or maybe I'm just mentally missing animal protein. (Insert burger here! lol) 🤣🤣 I did find myself a bit hungry today but my desire to eat was kinda blah. .
.
Tomorrow I think I'll pack a little extra portion wise in case I do get hungry. I'm pretty pumped for what's on the menu tomorrow!

After last night's bowling 🎳 we got home around 930. That's way later than I'd like to be eating BUT I have a plan I'm following so I stuck with it. Took my supplements, had my water and kept my booty off the couch until my healthy meal was made! Chicken, brown rice, corn, salsa in a corn tortilla. 👌🏻😍

Day 7 and feeling freakin proud of myself!!!! Last night Dave and I went to a surprise goodbye party for a gal I work with. We went glow-bowling and I took my superfoods and my water bottle. I passed up all alcohol, chips and KFC! Dedication and motivation for the win!!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Day 🖐🏻 woohoo! I'm excited to see what sort of meals will come next week! The last few days have been fruit and yogurt for breakfast, which is delish! .

There's been other options besides the same salad every day for lunch but meal prep wise this was just easiest for me. I don't mind eating the same thing every day. Simple, quick and healthy. Count me in!!

As time passing through, new experience gained after facing rough moment. A little proud for myself as just exceeding the acquired target. Almost 50km. Says from partner, "Not bad for a beginner". Okay, I'll take it as a compliment and motivation for the next time. Thank you buddy for having me to slow you down. Haha

I wasn't a fan of today's original menu plan for lunch but this cleanse is flexible enough I can just swap it out for a different lunch from the same week 😊 Can't believe I'm already 4 days in. I though it would be harder but it's going great!

Spending the evening with my sister. I packed up my supper (leftovers from last night's tacos) so I was prepared to stay on track. No excuses for this girl! I made both of us tacos as well as a side of fresh miso soup 👌🏻 Yum! .

Day 3 and down 3lbs 🙌🏻 Loving this detoxifying program more than I thought I would. I was nervous to commit to 21 days but I'm already feeling the benefits!!! It's so worth it! My energy is up today and I'm feeling WAYY less bloated. Not thick and fluffy in my mid section if ya know what I mean.

3 lunches worth of chicken to go on top of my massive salads with homemade Greek dressing. And good ol' scrabbled eggs with whole grain toast for breakfast. .

Prepping is a little time consuming but when you have goals you always find a way to get it done. Would I rather watch Netflix with Dave? Yes. But I know that spending a little extra time now makes the rest of my week easier. Plus we did make time to go for a nice long walk outside while the sun was setting ❤️

Now THIS is one badass taco 🌮! Anyone else love tacos?! When I first read the recipe I thought to myself, omg that's all I get for dinner?! Damn you cleanse! lol But then I made it and oh man it's MASSIVE! Haha! .

Eating the correct foods and proper portions of those foods is what's most important. Whether you're looking to lose those last 10 pounds, lose 100 pounds or just want to feel healthier! I can't stress enough how much portion control can be the game changer.

Not the prettiest picture but this homemade oatmeal was AMAZING!! And super easy to make!! Cook your oats, add 2 tsp of all natural maple syrup and 1 cup frozen organic blueberries. BAM! Sooooo tasty and very filling!

So I did it! I survived my first time running in a road relay! 🎉🎉

Sadly my tracking app paused right when I started so I didn't track the first half kilometre BUT I still crushed it and ended with a time I'm proud of. 14km (8.8miles) in 2 hours ! BAM! 👊🏻

Big thank you to the team, you girls were absolutely wonderful support while I was running and you all did awesome on your legs!! I'm so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and signed up to do this! .
.
Now I'm resting, popping Advil, and preparing for my next adventure...the Ultimate Reset!

like my fav quote of barney stinson, "Challenge Accomplished." never quite imagined that i could manage to finish a full marathon (or even 10k...if you're one of those who tried to convince me to sign up for some fundraising run with you, you know the stories) but here i am :) thanks a lot to my personal trainer, papa lee, who didnt give up on me and walked me through all the training months (and woke me up at ridiculous hours on sat morning...) thanks auntie elaine for all the positive vibes n kept me going esp. at the last 8k, when both of my thighs cramped (then fed me with oysters n ice cream!!) thanks for all the encourage messages/words AND video (yes robert et al. you lot are the sweetest human being!) have to say the organisation of this marathon's absolutely top notch, the route is beautiful (though weather was a bit crap at times, with hailing and everything, but we also saw a full rainbow) and the abundant supply of food, water, entertainment, plus red wine (one of the stations was lafite guys...) was just incredible :D and they gave all the female runners a rose each when we passed the finish line...hahahaha how frenchie! my legs're sore (with no bruise though, im so proud) but this's all good pain (and pain in french is just bread haha!) one major box ticked, i'm officially a full marathon runner and i'm fully eligible to soak myself in champagne n wine now...;) #challengeaccomplished #firstfullmarathon #marathondumedoc #asics #marathondumedoc2017 #chateaux #runforwine #winelover #paulliac #lafiterothschild #latour #marathonrunner #femalerunner #girlcanrun #justdoit #wonderwoman #finisher #imadeit #soproudofmyself #legsaresore #allgoodpain #peoplewatching #fancydress #greatestfun #rocknroll #somuchredwine #fullrainbow #bucketlist #boxticked #wondersnevercease
