Training chest today on this Sunday, since everyone else does it on Monday. I’ve been training chest lighter with higher reps for the last few months, but light or heavy is relative to each individual and I see this growing trend where everyone now wants to use light weight and do short workouts. Trash that idea! Get strong first! Build your strength and power. Forget all these isolation movements, you can’t pump muscle you don’t have! What’s going to build more muscle, repping out with 100lbs or repping out with 500lbs
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out, but it does take hard work! .

Vids from today and yesterday. Squats yesterday included 300x3x3@7 paused low bar followed by 265x3x6 regular low bar for some repz. Deadlifts absolutely sucked cus my right erector was acting up and my hips weren't feeling it. 418x1@sub6/6 super wonky "paused" sumo. Feelsbadman. 340x4x4 afterwards paused feeling pretty piss.

Today on bench worked up to 234x3@6 for an ez triple. Them 198x4x8@6 for a titty pump. Also did bodybuilding after

If you have taken time to rest after experiencing significant bicep tendon pain in this area or if you are only experiencing mild pain, it is likely time to start progressively loading. When exercising with biceps tendon pain, pain should not exceed 3/10. Here are the keys to maintaining strength while rehabbing the bicep tendon:
1️⃣ Load the tendon directly with light eccentric-focused repetitions (bicep curl with palms up grip while keeping the elbow in front of the midline of the body)
2️⃣ Strengthen the rotator cuff (specifically the external rotators infraspinatus and teres minor)
3️⃣ Consider replacing bench press with controlled ROM push-up variations that free up the motion of the scapula and provide a better ball and socket congruency for improve scapulo-humeral dynamics.
4️⃣ Since you got biceps tendinitis from benching and number 3 was too confusing so you’re going to bench anyway.... Start with neutral grip board press and floor press and progress to a phase of accommodating resistance using bands or chains to overload top ROM while keeping the bottom position lighter.

Additional considerations include: replacing back squat with Safety Bar with neutral grip or at least widening grip to limit external rotation, using back exercises that focus on controlled external rotation (horizontal row) rather than those that cause compressive stress (potentially lat pulldown or lat pullover), and improve scapulo-thoracic mobility.
