Star wars the last jedi:
I watched this on Thursday and it's taken me until today for me to get over the initial emotion of seeing the film and have a rational opinion.
I liked it, didn't love it and i didn't hate it. Its a good film, not a great film and not a terrible film. I love kylo ren he's genuinley my favourite character from all the star wars. Any scene with him in i loved. Adam driver is brilliant, Daisy Ridley gives a much stronger performance. And Mark Hamill gives a strong performance on his return. I can't go into what i didn't like to much without spoilers so i won't but there are plot holes, middle of the film issues, character new and oldish that i didn't and still don't like and a really unbearable moment in the last half hour. I'll watch it again at the cinema but i can't see it changing my opinion after thinking about it so much these last 3 days. We shall see though. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

A visual spectacle and a technically rich feature, Star Wars - The Last Jedi lives up to its expectations and amends the flaws of it predecessor to a satisfying extent.

Wonder is a 2017 American drama film directed by Stephen Chbosky and based on the 2012 novel of the same name by R.J. Palacio. The film tells the story of August Pullman, a boy with facial differences who enters fifth grade, attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time.
Pros:
Jacob Tremblay should star in every single children role in Hollywood, because this kid is a fantastic actor. In fact, everyone in this film performs at their A-game, it’s a brilliantly acted film. I like how the plot is very much grounded and not overly melodramatic like typical Hollywood dramas. It’s also nice how the film tells the story not only about Tremblay’s character, but also everyone around him. This makes the characters feel very fleshed-out, and it shows how people are not black and white, everyone has a story and reasons why they do certain things. It’s a very emotionally powerful film and it has a wonderful message about anti-bullying, family, and relationships. This film proves that sometimes you don’t need a crazy dramatic plot to make a drama film work; great characters and well-written storyline are more than enough. Also, big props to the make-up team for this film, it looks amazing.
Cons:
It’s has a fairly predictable storyline. Sometimes, the plot feels a bit overstuffed because there is so many things that the film tries to showcase. Also, I kind of want to see more about Owen Wilson’s character, he’s great in the movie, but there is a lack of screentime and character development for his character.
Verdict:
Wonder is a powerful film with a very important message about family, friendship, and bullying. It’s the kind of simple, yet elegant drama that everyone can enjoy.
Rating: 4.5

I saw it, and I loved it. Really having a hard time understanding where the uproar is coming from with fans. This movie was definitely not safe or formulaic. There's a part of me that wants to say "if it isn't broken don't fix it", because I can't say Star Wars NEEDED to have a change up like this, but it was very welcome. There were things that happened that broaden the universe instead of keeping it small. Bold decisions that make room for the new characters to be even better. I didn't have some elaborate Rey or Snoke theories, and got exactly what I hoped for (at this point). Luke, Rey, Kylo, Leia, Finn, Poe, ALL AMAZING performances and character growth. This was a very character driven movie, while the plot itself was rather singular with the conflict on the First Order and Resistance the whole time. It gave me things I didn't see coming, and I loved it. Can't wait to see where 9 goes after this. Purists may struggle with this movie, but if they take a good look, there should be plenty to love. Rian Johnson did an amazing job keeping me on my toes. My only possible gripe is that the porgs stood out a bit? But they honestly felt like a well placed Easter egg to KOTOR gizka. 😉 9.6/10 definitely going again and again. JJ Abrams sure has a lot to follow up on with 9!

Well... here it is everyone. My favourite shot of all time. I actually just finished showing this movie to my girlfriend and it was incredible once again. Timeless. The cinematography doesn’t get enough praise and this shot alone is what made me start this series. It has such an amazing element of darkness and mystery to it that I can’t help but love. Hope you’ve all enjoyed this series. Thank you so much for being a part of it. Much love.
