Breathing exercises. Using your core is always crucial in any movement or technique, this set is similiar to alot of core exercises used by millions of other martial arts practitioners. I usually alternate from punching, to blocks to all other forms of movement exercises.
This is relatable to ki/chi/chakra/inner strength/hard and soft/yin and yang.

Press into tripod headstand, float back down, and lift into crow. That's what I'm *trying* to do, but I think all that stuffing went to my head because that thing refused to lift. I almost did it but I couldn't hold it. Ah well, it's more than I could do in the past.

Difference physically between S- posture and neutral posture. ➡️Left picture - Lengthened hamstrings (green) and shortened hip flexors (blue) both pulling the pelvis into anterior tilt causing the lumbar spine to arch (S shape) and leaves the core disengaged. ➡️ Reduced rotation, reduces distance and causes inconsistent strikes and longer term lower back pain. ➡️ Right picture - Hamstrings neutral, hip flexors neutral allowing pelvis to sit neutral and spine is straight. Core is engaged. ➡️ Set-up becomes strong & athletic allowing for full rotation into the backswing. Improves strike, increases distance and protects the lower back.

The last couple Back Day’s have been great! I’m constantly changing up how i do things and trying to shock my muscles. But, by simply going back to some basics and really concentrating on properly contracting the right muscles I’ve been seeing some great results... and by that i mean I’m super sore lol.. but that’s how you know that you’re doing it right.

Yes, 5 months before I had stopped training almost for more than 45 days . No workout and could not follow my diet at all, was also hospitalised for 2 weeks but deep within me I knew I had that motivation to get my strength back
I have learned 2 important things in this 5 months -
1. You don’t need to train everyday , 3-4 days a week is more than enough.
2. Make sure your diet is in check and you’re having your daily macros right during your rest days even more . .
If you're gonna lead, remember this...most people will never see you from the front! So you better get to work on that damn V-taper! Wide delts, a developed upper back, flaring lats and a lean waist (including those hard to get rid of love handles on guys) is what will create the shape and lock in that "V". Need one more bit of motivation to not neglect this just because you can't see it? It's these muscles on your back that will keep those muscles on the front...healthy for a long time to come. No excuses. Now get to training! Become a leader starting today!
