I made it to the Gate of China! At 4700m, this is the highest paved border crossing in the world. Temperature showed -30° Celsius. It was predictably closed and impossible to cross. I was so stoked to see the Chinese flag for the first time in this trip! We also had some crazy encounter with yacks on the way up. I have no idea how those animals survive at that temperature.

“If you are faced with a mountain, you have several options. You can climb it and cross to the other side. You can go around it. You can dig under it. You can fly over it. You can blow it up. You can ignore it and pretend it’s not there. You can turn around and go back the way you came. Or you canstay on the mountain and make it your home.” (Vera Nazarian)

The closer I get to China as I travel north, the more people change. This man from Gilgit is the first man I saw with thin eyes. I couldn't stop looking at him. He was the living proof that China is near.

Beautiful snowfall in malka e kohsar pakistan.. ⛰️💙🏔️️ Follow@traveldiscoverpakistan... .Malka-e-Kohsar Murree is the most famous place for the tourist of Pakistan. A huge number of peoples do visit here from the entire country in the shape of trip to this lovely hill station. Summer is the peak season for the tourist who travel just 30 kilometers from the Islamabad. 7500 meters above to sea level place was founded in the year 1851 by the British. There is a school of thought who says that Murree word is the 2nd version of “Marhi”. Marhi means high place but on the other hands there are few peoples who believe that this name was due to Virgin Marry who buried in this city.

There is no airport or railway station in the Murree but two roads for the access. First and old one is Highway and the 2nd one is Express way. There is a helipad in the Gharyal camp but it is used for the VIPs and Armed forces. This city is easily accessible from the historical city of Rawalpindi and from the Capital, Islamabad. Local transport could be found easily from these cities while you can hire a Taxi as per your choice. The new Express way is a brand new road just like the motorways. This way reduced the travel time between the Malka-e-Kohsar and Islamabad. It is very easy way as compare to the old highway due to its separate and double lanes.

Malka-e-Kohsar Murree is not a very big city and one day is enough to explore it. Under you will find the attractions of this city.

Mall Road: A famous Road

Kashmir Point: View of Kashmir Mountains (Highest point of this city)

Pindi Point: View of Rawalpindi site

Chairlift: A Chairlift at Pindi Point

GPO: General Post Office

There are many hiking points in this city which provide very pleasant experience in the summers. The winter offers you the enjoyment of snow while rains and fog have no specific season or time. To get an accommodation is not a serious issue over there. There are a large number of guest houses, hotels and motels in this city. These guest houses, hotels and motels charge you differently, according to their services. Malka-e-Kohsar Murree is very attractive for the nature lovers. 🎥@kashifjaved_

That uncomfortable feeling was spreading over me again. What about them? The color, he breathed. When you stand in the light. They are amazing like molten gold. I could paint those. He reached toward me but then pulled back. They are beautiful. You are beautiful.
