Voltaire 1694-1778. Sadly, this is equally true for 2017. This is the first time in modern history that our lifespans are decreasing.

The body is designed for health 🙏 If you have a disease, you're most probably doing something wrong or might be exposed to toxic chemicals in your environment. Both can be unintentional of course.
.
The base for health:
✅noninflammatory, nutrient dense, organic, fiber rich and varied food, lots of colors!
✅ pure water
✅excercise, natural movement.
✅fresh air, maybe from walks in the forest 🌳
✅ stress management
✅stable bloodsugar between 4 - 6 mmol/L 👉 lower carb intake.
✅quality sleep following the circadian rhythm
✅meditation or prayer
✅ happy microbs in the gut
✅(supplements according to your biochemistry and based on the quality of the soils)

Get rid of:
✅ stress 👉 physical, emotional, chemical
✅pasta, bread and other grainbased 'foods'
✅ pastries, candy, icecream, sodas, juice etc 👉 sugars, even sweeteners!
✅margarin and vegetable oils other than cold pressed olive oil, avocado oil, coconut oil basically.
✅ GMOs and toxic foods. Google 'clean fifteen' and 'dirty dozen' lists if there's not enough money for organic foods.
✅most people benefit from a dairy free and soy free diet. But there can be other food sensitivities. Keep a 'Food Mood Poop journal' 🤓📝
✅ sedentary lifestyle
✅ negative attitude
✅unnecessary antibiotic use. Use only if you'll die if you don't use it. And keep in mind that most antibiotics comes from conventional farming. So meat and dairy can be a problem if not from grassfed, organic farms.

It's just not possible to keep eating sugar and sandwiches and get rid of an inflammatory issue at the same time.

Health is far beyond calories in - calories out!

If you want to get more fertile you will need to make a commitment to a healthier lifestyle and like preparation for a marathon start working towards this. If you like, think of it as your monthly bill for your mobile phone, or your annual one! Human beings are a massive complicated piece and our 'operating system' far outweigh a mobile phone in terms of what we can do daily so it's worth investing in your fertility. However there are so many food heros and villains out there, so my opinion is - get some advice from someone who understands hormones and fertility before you embark on the journey. Like you did with your mobile phone the first time you used it, i.e. You phoned up or went into store to get some advice!

Food habits start early and as we all have varied genetics, eating the wrong foods can trigger a genetic reaction over time and chronic condition in already mutated and poorly working gene can start you on the path to for example insulin resistance and #PCOS if this is in the family. The study of this is called #epigenetics and rightly so, it's starting to get huge, both in medicine but also in nutritional circles. Breaking it down the epi means 'outside' and genetics is fairly self explanatory 🤓 .

I'm so excited about this as i get a great insight into people if I incorporate looking at genes ( your hardware) into looking at your current circumstances and diet, stress, environment etc ( your software) and together with functional tests, I get a real picture of you the individual snowflake that you are, and from there I build a programme around you. Being healthy often takes a huge effort to cultivate, and in my view is easier if started young - as big food industry does tend to dominate how we make food choices, with a huge budget for marketing!
