I've never understood why people feel the need to insult another's workout choice. I take the viewpoint that there's some form of activity out there for everybody. Just because it doesn't work for you, doesn't mean that it won't work for others. We all have different goals and if you found what works for you and it gets you moving, do it! Despite the fact that 17372728x per workout I wanna quit, I love lifting. And I hate running. Hate it. But I'm not gonna tell those that like it that they're wrong--because they're not. If it works for you, do it. But don't run around telling people that they are wrong because they do like different things. Just because you don't think that women should have big ol' quads and shoulders doesn't mean that it's wrong for me. Let's just all be happy for people that have made the decision to get out there and move. #youdoyouboo #illkeepmyquads

There may come a day that you see a pile of veggies on my plate. Today is not that day.
Tonight I had a #morningstar corndog, #leancuisine Mac and cheese (which is super delicious for a frozen meal) and of course cottage cheese and strawberries, because I eat them just about every day. Total, with ketchup, is about 550 calories.

Here's a less than fun exercise to build up the posterior chain, semi straight leg sumo pulls. Focus on maintaining a nice flat back and sitting your hips back as your lower the bar.

My launch group results are rolling in today and I am so proud of all of them!! Now I could share a ton of results pictures but today I am choosing Natalie!! She has totally inspired not only me but our entire group!

You see Natalie had a secret goal for the last three weeks. One she didn't share with the group during prep week.

She had a vacation coming up and her goal was to finally break the 300 pound mark on the scale.

She showed up in our group every day!
Sometimes in the morning and sometimes in the evening because her nursing shifts are always changing.

She planned out her meals, when she would get her workouts in, and she committed to the program!! In 3 weeks she not only lost 8 pounds but she passed her goal!!!! She is so excited to go on her first family vacation in a long time feeling proud of what she just accomplished!! When she gets back she is jumping back in and joining us for Round 2!!! Because we all know this is not a quick fix, it's a lifestyle and these are healthy habits we are going to continue long after the challenge is over!

For years I told people that I would never wear shorts to the gym, not because it wasn't excepted by society but because I started my fitness journey in Europe where it really is not acceptable by anyone to wear these type of shorts in the gym. Today, for the first time ever, I went to the gym in shorts and it was wonderful! I was confident, focused, and still strong. Wearing shorts didn't change anything for me besides giving me even more confidence and love for my body.
