After today's experience of being extremely hungry. Plus being an #exclusivelybreastfeeding mama... having these handy is a MUST. these little balls of energy can help get me through until I can have a decent meal. This is for all of you out there who are having an “I want to quit day.” Everyone has bad days.

Like when you wake up and look in the mirror and feel like you’re not making any progress and nothing has changed.

Or when you look on Social Media and see someone else’s transformation and get frustrated because you feel like you haven’t made as much progress and you should be where she/he is.

They’ll be days when you stand on the scales and get upset when they haven’t moved as much as you want them to.

Or maybe you’ve had a bad day of eating and feel like you’ve undone all your hard work.

The truth is you will have good days, bad days, emotion will take it's toll and frustrate you, anger you and fill you with joy.

You’ll have days where you absolutely destroy a workout, and others where you’ll struggle to get going.

They’ll be days when you’ll crave fatty/greasy foods or want a cheeky chocolate bar or packet of crisps after work - and some days you might just give in.

You’ll also have days when the alarm clock will go off and you can’t be bothered to train and you’ll hit snooze five times.

But guess what? We’ve all been there. This is all totally normal stuff that everyone goes through when they’re trying to change their behavioural habits.

It’s an ongoing journey and the bad days don’t mean you should quit.

Whatever your head is telling you just remember: you ARE making progress everyday. Look at the big picture.
Take a moment to think about why you want to do something and deep down how that will make you feel when you get there, use that as a driving force!

So work hard and don’t give up. Getting lean is a marathon, not a race.

Tomorrow is a new day, so get up and get back in control. Smash your workout, prep your lunch and get back on the training band wagon and start the day with a positive attitude. @kickstartultimatetraining .

Watermelon 🍉👅 It was my post gym snack today (like my starter before eating breakfast later😆) , Yes there was no protein but I didn't tear much muscle today as it was more of a fat burning session lol... my focus these days on post cardio snacks is replenishing muscle glycogen stores (glucose/energy stored in the muscle) as soon as possible after a workout so that I don't get too tired as the week goes😴... As my friend Krause 😁 says, the longer you delay to eat carbs after a workout the slower it takes to replenish those energy stores! ⏳Watermelon is a high GI food BUT low GL so it's quickly absorbed without raising your blood sugar level too much (if you eat it as a fruit, not as juice and limit the amount to maximum 2 cups if you're eating it as a snack)🤓 #Dietitian #derrricious #lol #iaimtoempower #ilovefoodthatlovesmeback #healthiswealth #Godsfamily
