I do minimal cardio these days so when I do do it, I ensure I make every minute count by doing HIIT treadmill sessions. Here are some of my workouts:

Workout 1:
Warm up for 5 min and then 30 second intervals as hard as you can ( the last 10 seconds should be like you want to puke) and 30 second rest ( I like to just do a slow run) x 15 sets
Workout 2 (inclines)

Warm up for 5 minutes.
In last 20 seconds bring incline up and then at 5 minutes bring speed up. Run hard for 30seconds
Keep Incline and reduce speed, recover for 30 seconds. Keep bringing incline up. I increase every 2 intervals and do 10 intervals on incline and then finish with 10 flat, 30 second rest in between. Total 15 intervals
Workout 3:

Warm-up for 5, run hard for 1 minute and rest for 30 seconds, repeat 10 times
Workout 4 (30/45/60)

Warm up for 5.(more of tempo vs hIIT but still hard AF!}
Each segment is 2 minutes:
Run hard for 30 seconds recover for 1:30
Run hard for 45 seconds recover 1:15
Run hard for 1 minute recover for 1 minute
This is 1 set
Repeat 3-4 times
Important thing to remember when doing short intense workouts is maximize your time which means you will feel completely uncomfortable doing

Today’s busy mama metabolic training complete! I did a 15 minute AMRAP(As many rounds as possible of the allotted exercises and reps in a set amount of time) today.
Here’s a snippet of my workout!
Also if you are a Postnatal woman (any numbers of years Postnatal!!!)that has not seen a pelvic PT to be cleared for this exercise I would not recommend doing an exercise like this, especially if you have had any issues with abdominal separation or pelvic pain, or symptoms associated with the bladder post partum.
I have been cleared by my Pelvic PT for this exercise as I worked long and hard to get here with a lot of other obstacles. I know my body well enough to know when or if I were to start having symptoms, or that I need to back off workouts,and switch up my exercise regimen. .
