Doing a plank challenge today. With a little one around it's hard to consistently schedule in time to physically challenge my body. If you have kids you know that your time is not yours anymore! So, instead I've decided to challenge myself in a different way. A way that works for me right now. I may not have a predictable solid chunk of time to myself, but I do have a couple seconds or minutes every once in a while! My challenge today is to see how many minutes of plank I can accumulate. Easy enough to work on while baby naps, but more importantly, super simple to do even while she's awake! Join me if you like! Let's see how many minutes of plank we can accumulate by the end of the day! 💪👊👊

💜 My daughter used to crave junk food and sweets before we started juicing about 4 years ago. Since juicing I realized she stopped asking for sweets & junk food , unless it’s a hot summer day, than she asks for ice cream , I think its more for cooling effect than sweet craving. . When I started this journey and made the decision to Go Clean in April of this year I knew I had to keep it simple: I knew I had to learn to eat real food in a way that would be sustainable for a lifetime and not just a month or for the length of a group. We are chemical beings. Every process in our bodies, even our thoughts and moods, can be adjusted chemically. Throughout our evolutionary history, this was done through food, herbs and other natural techniques.  Treatments recommended to you are designed to bring your chemical processes back to a state of balance. From there, health follows naturally.

How Would a Holistic Nutrition Program Work?

This is largely up to you.  There are quite a few free services offered, which can make a big impact on your life.  Beyond that, there are web-based classes, which are great starting points.  They are offered because some things (whole-food diets, stress relief techniques) are so universally helpful that they can be made into systems.  This allows you to get more help for less money.  Even so, individual adjustments can be very helpful.  The web classes offer the options of adding personalized consults. You can also book an initial consultation, where Michael will go over your situation and make recommendations as to what would be the recommended course of action.

Meetings may be in person or via skype, facetime or phone.

Good morning, friends. I'm not sure what to post on this account now that it's transitioning to a more personal page, but I figure I'll start with sharing things that I inJOY, and the daily practices that keep me grounded and embodied in spirit... I learned this trick years ago when working at a small, local health food store. There I made a lifelong friendship with the owner... She taught me to grate about a tablespoon of lemon zest (be sure to use organic lemons since you're using the rind) and steep it in with your tea for about 15-20 minutes, covered. This is an excellent way to get vitamin C into your diet. I grated about half that lemon, so I'll probably cut it in half and use it in my water today and save the other half for more tea later or tomorrow. 🍋 What's are some of your favorite hot teas? #slowdown #bepresent #holistichealth
