Hotel workout again this morning!! 🙌🏼 Honestly, the thought of going down to the gym this morning by myself and doing a workout triggered ALL my excuses about working out while on vacay!
But with my workouts programmed on my phone, and a 5' by 5' space in my room, working out was EASY!! Excuses.. GONE!! 🙌🏼

Got my workout in on the interview trail. I decided to step up my sweat sesh tonight, because I was feeling a bit overwhelmed from all the traveling this week. Did Friday fight, because sometimes we need to fight on tuesdays too. And man, did it feel good! 20 x Goblet Squats, 15 x push-ups, 20 x Swings, 15 Overhead sit-ups, 20 x Overhead squats, and 15 high-pulls

Cool down: Turkish getups, single leg deadlifts, windmills, curls, and kickbacks.

So I tried the new kettle gryp @kettlegryp today to see how it feels, it turns any dumbbell into kettlebell up to 55lb, easy to assemble, light weight.. turns exercises into easier flows that db might have a little setback with. Back to it this morning after 3 full days off from the gym 😱 I actually can’t remember ever in my life when I’ve done that ! And do you you know what , it’s done me the world of good 😀 before my lil break I had little injury niggles , nothing major but just didn’t feel great ... also mentally I was feeling a bit stressy! 👾 ... time out is SO important as I now can’t wait to get back and get stuck into work and training ...

My equipment was limited this am , but I was determined to get a workout in ...so I set up a little circuit ... 200m row , 8 squat and press and 8 burpees ...10 rounds , followed by 20 mins incline walk ... = hot, sweaty and mind ready for the week ahead ! 💪

A few weeks ago I went to #victoriabc for a couple days, and had a pretty #rad time. A number of #wonderful things happened, including: finding this #fantastic #bumpersticker, trying #vegan pulled pork for the first time (@theverygoodbutchers 🙌🏻 HIGHLY recommend), and just generally exploring this #beautiful city. I met up with rad people (@bettinastace) and ran into rad people (@felixthebrat). I lost my car downtown whilst trying to buy #doughnuts (as you do), and #kind strangers were all too quick to help. This was #encouraging, as I generally have a skeptical outlook on humanity, so my heart was thawed a little 🖤
Two of my #teammates got injured, so that was super unfortunate. But in this I got to witness more human social dynamics that were a wonder to behold: #teamwork #strength and #unity. Feeling very #blessed to have met so many #goodsouls of late, and #thankful for the #positivity they have brought into my life ✌🏻💗 #hotelworkouts #youshallnotpass #lotr #whatveganseat #donuts @eves_of_destruction #rollerderby #vancouverisland #islandlife #islandgirl

Hotel workout chapter 3: 🏙️Abs!! - one of the top questions I get asked: How do I find TIME ⏱️to workout when I travel??There’s no secret answer- it’s just make time! Whether that means I need to wake up at 5am to get in a workout because I have a packed day or I workout in the evening after my day- carve out a window - even if it’s just 20minutes - make the most of your time & don’t look at it like a chore - think of it as taking time back for yourself- Notes on this workout: I carry my elite sliders & bands when I travel- add bands to your legs for the v-up side crunch for something extra- you can use a weight instead of a med ball if the hotel gym doesn’t have them - these can even be done in your hotel room!
