My boo-tay took a beating on the slopes yesterday, but I wasn’t about to let that stop me from getting one day closer to my goals! .
I cussed, I sweat like a 300-lb man in a turtleneck sweater (you just pictured that, didn’t you?! 😜), but it’s done, and done is what I was going for!! πŸ’ͺ🏼 .
My guys are back on the mountain today πŸ‚β›·οΈ and I’m headed for a massage...my hubby’s sweet gift (read: bribe) for me tackling my fear of snowboarding yesterday! 😜 I’ll take it!! .

Gosh looking back is sooooo HARD, but it also makes me so happy and proud about how far I have come! I finally stuck with something, I finally give myself grace, I finally don’t hide from pictures being taken and I am FINALLY comfortable (most of the time) in my own skin!! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»

After having a very difficult time keeping my eyes open at work last night, I woke way sooner than expected today. πŸ™Žβ€β™€οΈ Now I've been awake for an hour.

Listening to the rain hit the pavement outside.

There's the urge to stay hidden and binge watch THIS IS USπŸ“Ί, order pizzaπŸ•, turn off social media and sleep off and on til 5am when I have to get ready for work.
I dont know about you, but there's something about being in a hotel out of town that brings me a sense of freedom and solitude that I don't get, even in my own private home that's the same size of this room.
It's 60 degrees outside, even with the rain. 🌦️
It's the middle of the day.
I have freedom, for a just a few hours.
I'm pretty sure that what I decide to do with this time will lay the foundation for many upcoming things in my life... That may seem intense, but life is short.

Another hotel workout come at ya! 10 sets of each exercise along with 5 sets of 45 second side and regular planks. Went until I was about 1 or 2 reps from reach failure. Also, hit some sprints this morning to start the day off right. Traveling definitely takes a toll but working out literally makes me feel better physically and mentally. Keep striving for greatness and crush those goals this week!

You can do a lot with a set of dumbbells and a bench! It wasn’t ideal but I managed to get in a decent back and chest workout, so I’m pleased!

Just finished my workout in a teeny tiny space in my hotel room. Could have thrown in the towel and slept in... no kids... no meetings... no responsibilities this morning... but instead got my a$$ up out of bed and it felt FANTASTIC to get my sweat on!!! Day 26 in the books and am feeling better than I have in a long time- LOVING my current program!
