Sorry about the #Iceland spam but it's kind of hard not to. 🇮🇸✌🏻

'One of the lesser known areas of #Iceland becoming more and more popular is the almost
unpronounceable #Fjaðrárgljúfur, a 100m deep canyon in the country's southern region. The canyon is 2km long, with the Fjaðrá river running through it. Created by a 9000 year erosion process of flowing glacier water, this canyon has been used as a backdrop to many a music video and film, and is definitely a place to stop during your visit to Iceland. It certainly looks like it could be the birthplace of THOR to me!' – @pearsonphotography

When in Iceland, DON'T STAND ON THE GREEN MOSS.
Damage caused by footprints and tire marks can take a very long time to heal. Not to mention the green moss is just so so pretty!
Pop idol Justin Bieber’s visit to Iceland in September garnered significant media attention. While fans worldwide were thrilled to later learn that he’d filmed the clip for one of his songs, ‘I’ll Show You,’ during his Iceland visit, Bieber came under fire by park rangers in Skaftárhreppur, in the south of the country, for having trampled on sensitive moss—not least for having filmed it and broadcasting it to his tens of millions of fans (Bieber has over 70 million followers on Twitter and his Iceland clip has been viewed on YouTube around the same number of times), thus setting a bad example when it comes to protecting Iceland’s fragile nature.
Remember please, moss can be easily damaged—potentially irreparably and moss areas are particularly sensitive and damage caused by footprints and tire marks can take a very long time to heal.
Their beuaty is magnified tenfolds when @nora.yusuf takes a closeup of the moss in macro. So remember, not to trample on the green moss.

A lot of things happen for a reason, just like a beautiful sunrise or a sunset and a waterfall.
