As we head into a brand new week, I’d like to encourage everyone to think of such simple, but very frequently overlooked concept - GRATITUDE. Our lives are so fast-paced these days and minds - so busy being preoccupied with a ton of things/agendas (important and not), that we tend to forget to stop for a moment at times, to reflect on all the good things we have in our lives and to be thankful for all the supportive, devoted and loving people we have been blessed to be surrounded by... I love this Melanie Beattie's quote: "GRATITUDE unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more...” Even though I don't usually share a lot of my life on social media, the theme of GRATITUDE has been on my mind a lot lately, especially this past week. As I started going deeply into thinking of what this concept of GRATITUDE means to me personally and what I'm grateful for in my life, I couldn't believe how many blessings I thought of in that process. In an effort to inspire you, guys, to start practicing GRATITUDE in your own lives, I’m feeling compelled to share a few of my own blessings… To keep my thoughts to a limit of one post, I will do so by focusing on sharing with you only the names of people who came into my life very recently or whom I've had a fortune to connect or interact with this past week. These amazing individuals have already made my life so much more enriching and fulfilling. They inspire, challenge and motivate me with the way their living their lives beyond what the words could ever express. So, thank you @shawnmodel for putting your heart and soul into creating an amazing #1 Health, Fitness & Nutrition Podcast in iTunes, called "The Model Health Show" - I'm SO GRATEFUL for you, your podcast and our recent connection via social media!!! I also want to thank Kristin Noblette @bodymetamorphic for being an UNBELIEVABLE FITNESS TRAINER - you inspire and push me to my limits and beyond every single day during our workout sessions. •Monday Morning Motivation•
😑 Ugh 😑 to Mondays and wanting to simply stay in bed all day and sleep... Yeah not the life I want anymore and truthfully had enough bed time over the last year to suffice for the rest of 2017. Even in my worst times this year and before I sill never gave up, nor should you. Keep going little by little it helps and will change you.
Takes the stairs vs the elevator.
Park further away at the store or work.
Make more trips when bring groceries in.
Sporadic late night walks thatlast 10-20-30 minuets with a spouse or child.
These are some ideas that I can put into your head, truthfully if your trying g to lose weight or better yourself, only YOU enable you. You have to know what's right vs wrong and what is going to be better for your body. Never give up! One Day, Week, Month at a time. Cheers to Life!

Levator Scapulae Stretch ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Great stretch for tension headaches related to poor posture. Incorporate this stretch into your daily routine. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Sit up straight with legs crossed.
2. Begin by stretching the left levator scapulae muscle.
3. Place the left arm behind the back.
4. Place the right hand over the left-back side of the head.
5. Using the right hand as a guide, look down toward your chest and rotate your head to the point where your nose is pointing toward your right armpit (action is similar to smelling your right armpit). You should feel the stretch along the left-back portion of your neck. (do NOT tug/pull on the head or to the point of pain).
6. Hold the stretch for 20-30 seconds.
7. Return to a neutral position.
8. Repeat steps 1-6 on the opposite side (to target the right levator scapulae muscle). 9. Perform 2-3 times a day if neck is painful, stiff, or tension headaches are present. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Take this new week as a fresh. That is what I will be doing, I had a bit of an emotional wobble last week; my insecurities rose up & my anxiety peaked. And do you know what that is OKAY! We cannot be 100% okay & happy all the time. If anything that would be exhausting. The best we can do is get through, find our inner strength & reset. Remind yourself on your passions & your goals & get back to it. Those wobbles make us stronger & more determined. They give us a thicker skin & allow our minds to refocus. (Also sleep deprivation is half the reason) so get them zzz's, move that body & don't be scared...We are all striving ultimately for the same thing, so let's help each other achieve it, show each other love but most importantly show yourself some GOD DAMN LOVE! 😘💋 with love, #fromthisheight xXx
