If 6 hours of power walking around a shopping centre isn’t high intensity cardio then I don’t know what is 😂 So today reinstalled the hatred I have for shopping 😣 I have a race day next weekend and considering I don’t get all jazzed up that often I needed a fitting outfit which unfortunately meant hitting the shops! And OH. MY. GOD!!!! No wonder so many women have body issues with the majority of models still having normally unattainable bodies and sizing being so damn inconsistent it’s laughable! Now as a self confessed “amazon woman” (I’m 181cm) it has always been a little hard to find things that fit properly due to my disproportionate limbs, but now having muscle (and it’s not even that much!) to try and factor in, clothes shopping is a damn nightmare 😣I seriously tried on and fitted sizes 8 through to 14 and to me that says there is something seriously wrong with our fashion industry 😡 So girls next time you go shopping don’t feel bad when trying on a range of sizes, especially if your strong and toned and have some new grown muscle to fit into those drapes! Just like the scales, it’s just another number and doesn’t measure your strength or more importantly your worth! Nothing beats a warm apple cinnamon porridge on a cold winter day 🍎❄️

Just bring a cup of oats and 1 1/2 cups of water or low fat milk in a saucepan and simmer until thickened. Slice an apple in small pieces and put them in an other saucepan and cook until the apple is tender. If you want you can use maple syrup or honey to sweeten it or protein powder. I used cinnamon protein powder from @shape_republic
To serve, top with sliced apple peaces, some nuts and blueberries. Et voilà, bonne appetite 🤤

Mein Standardteig Rezept: ich eine halbe Banane mit 45g Dinkelmehl, 40ml Sojamilch, 40ml Sprudelwasser, 1/2 TL Backpulver, 1 EL Haselnuss Backzutat von @eisbluemerl_naturkost mit Vanille (@justspices) und Butterkeks Flavdrops (@nutriful) im Mixer vermengt und circa 3 Minuten im Waffeleisen gebacken!

courtesy of my mother in law 😜 beef rissoles, sweet potato, mashed potato, pumpkin, garlic cabbage & mixed veggies. It’s been a bit of a challenge lately sharing my home with someone else, having my dinner prepared by someone every night and a house full of temptation. When I say temptation I mean our home looks like a candy store 😂 we have biscuits, liquorice, chocolate cake,milo , ice cream, crunchie chocolates and custard 😳 to be honest I try not to keep anything like this in the house because for one I’m a person who can’t waste food so I have to eat EVERYTHING and I have a massive sweet tooth with a tendency to binge eat (I’ve improved a lot but I still have my weak moments) 😫 so I just try to avoid the temptation all together, so this has really been testing me in so many ways but it’s also been good for me to try and break the bad relationship with food that I developed through dieting in the past. Restriction and diets can honestly do more harm than good in some cases and when your body thinks it needs to go into starvation mode it can take a long time to recover and also repair your relationship with food. So here’s to breaking bad habits, learning to listen to my body and having a healthier relationship with food. .

In case you are eating the algae salad at your japanese restaurant all the time, here is the recipe to make your own Goma-Wakame- Algae salad –
Its awesome to have as a starter or also as a side dish. The recipe is brought to you by @algamardeutschland
The recipe is for 4 people:

You will need:
- 60g dried wake algae, cut into thin strings
- 1 cucumber, finely sliced
- 4 Tbsp sesame oil
- 2 Tbsp lime juice
- 4 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp fresh rasped ginger
- 1 Tsp sugar
- 1 pressed clove of garlic
- a bit of child powder
- 3 Tbsp chopped cilantro
- 2 Tbsp sesame

Preparation:
let the wakame algae soak in luke warm water for 20 minutes. Rinse and slightly press out the remaining liquid form the algae.
roast the sesame in a pan.
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients except for the algae, cucumber and sesame together.
Throw in the algae and the cucumber and sprinkle with the sesame.
For the best taste let it all sit for 15 minutes.

You guys, this recipe is really so good. I tried it myself as you can see :) and me and @vegainsfood devoured it so fast. Well Ferdi ate most of it 😁

Nothing like a new @undisputed_nutrition shirt to get the motivation going again 👌🏼 Hadn’t been to the gym in a little [read: a lot] longer than I’d like to admit 🤭 Between life getting in the way, making excuses, and being sick, I was doing some major slacking. Today, though, I made a choice ☝🏼 and decided to just go to the gym to get back into the swing of things. Ended up doing a quick 30 min arc trainer session to start my day off.
