I definitely say this to myself often. Whether it's a long week that I don't think I'm going to get through, feeling overwhelmed at work, about to quit midway through a workout, or just feeling like I'm not enough, i use these three words to push through. I'll give myself a second, take a deep breath, remember who the eff I is ... and tell myself, "You've got this," and do something I didn't think I could.

So, if you're facing a challenge β€”Β whatever challenge it is β€” here's a saying, if you need it ... and a reminder that you can do hard things; you've got this.

3x10 deadlifts
3x10 squat & press with kettle bell superset into 3x10 incline kettle bell sumo squats
3x20 single arm squat & press superset with 14 round the world both directions (lifting a weighted late around your head)
3x10 press ups
3x10 bicep curls superset with 3x15 tricep dips
50 sit ups on incline bench with a weight mix between Russian twists & raising the weight above my head

Cute face. Chubby waist. Thick thighs. In shape. .

A lot of people look at my legs & think "she's got some powerful legs." And they're right, I do. I've always had thick thighs. But the thing is, growing up, I was a ballet dancer, and hated how my legs grew larger with every new muscle developed. Like many adolescent girls, I'd stare in the mirror wishing my thighs were smaller, pinching the back of my legs thinking "if only they were a couple inches smaller" (ladies, you know that pinch I'm talkin' about). I wouldn't even wear shorts in middle school and most of high school for that reason. I was probably 10 when I started that process. 10.

It took a long time β€”Β  into my early twenties β€”Β until I actually liked looking in the mirror and seeing my #thunderthighs. I think I just realized that yes, I've got large thighs. But they're big for a reason β€”Β they're strong AF. I'm strong AF. These gams help me power through some tough workouts, run half marathons, balance on my toes ... and now I wear these big, muscular thighs like the badge of honor they are. At 10, you wouldn't catch me wearing shorts, but at 30, I rock the shortest shorts, mini skirts, and dresses all.day.long. Do I still have insecurities? Absolutely β€”Β especially about my body. But today, I'm takin' a moment to celebrate my stems ... because I earned it. πŸ’‹βœ¨
