So I admin the @relgb account and @dale_persky it's not discrimination. He said it was against his religion (ergo it falls under the FIRST AMENDMENT) and offered to make ANY OTHER cake in the store. He also refused to make divorce cakes because they go against his religion (1st amendment). It would be discrimination if he were to say "I don't make cakes for gays/fags/homosexuals" BUT HE DIDN'T HE SAID AGAINST HIS RELIGION AND HE WOULD MAKE ANY
OTHER
FUCKING
CAKE
AND IF IT TAKES ANOTHER HOMOSEXUAL (ME) TO INTERVENE, THEN WHAT THE FUCK IS THE COUNTRY COMING TO? #justiceforjack

#devotional “THE TRIALS OF PREJUDICE

This story is set during the Great Depression in the town of Maycomb, Alabama, where six-year-old tomboy Scout Finch and her older brother Jem live with their widowed father, an attorney named Atticus Finch. Life is normal in this “tired and sleepy town” until the day that a black man, Tom Robinson, is accused of raping a white woman, Mayella Ewell, and the court appoints Atticus as Tom’s lawyer.
Tom faces such hostility from the townsfolk that Atticus must defend him from a lynch mob. During the court case Atticus proves that Mayella and her father, Bob Ewell, are lying, and in his closing argument, Atticus gives an impassioned plea for the jury to find Tom innocent. The jury follows its prejudices, however, and declares Tom guilty. While Atticus prepares to appeal the verdict, Tom tries to escape prison and is shot dead. The children’s faith in the justice system is shattered. Yet their respect for their father, who stood against prejudice, has grown as, after the verdict, Atticus turns to leave, the blacks in the courtroom balcony rise, and Reverend Sykes says to Scout, “Jean Louise, stand up. Your father’s passing.” “Yet the children, too, are guilty of prejudging people. A shut-in named Boo Radley has been the talk of the town for years and many people think he’s insane. Jem describes Boo as a monster. Yet after the trial, Bob Ewell, furious about being exposed, attacks Scout and Jem when they’re walking home in the dark, and it is the mentally challenged Boo who comes out of hiding to defend them, then carry the injured Scout home.
Deeply held opinions can affect our judgment, causing us to prejudge a person or situation. We can also make mistakes if we leap to conclusions before we hear all the facts. In the early days of Israel, the tribes living in Canaan became furious when they heard the Israelites east of the Jordan River had built an unauthorized altar. They marched out to wage war on them, and only when they learned the stone altar was simply intended as a memorial did they sheath their swords. (See Joshua 22.)
Proverbs 18:13 cautions, “He who answers [or judges] a matter before he hears it, it is folly and
