So when my gym get a new piece of equipment I normally take a look at it. See how it works and try to figure out what I can do to #adapt it. This was the whole reason I started my YouTube channel and this Instagram page.

Now initially when I saw the assault bike I wrote it off. I couldn't get on the seat or reach the handles so therefore I thought I couldn't do anything about it.
.
However I went in today and it was facing a different direction. I went up to it and stared at it for literally 10 minutes. Then I clicked. If I raised up the seat end the handles would be closer to me (as you can see in the picture). I got a jump box and stuck it underneath and boom it was perfect. I loved it and will definitely be adding it to my routine.
.
It might sound odd but I get off on this sort of stuff. Truly passionate about the problem solving that I experience on a daily basis and then sharing it with you!

Have you heard of FREDDY jeans??
They are sooo awesome!! I definitely recommend these for women who train with weights. If you struggle finding a jean that fits both your waist and your butt these may be the jeans for you!
@freddystore **today marks a milestone as I was unable to fit into these over one year ago when they were purchased. I lost ALL of my muscle when I became ill and slowly I am beginning to regain that muscle... which means everything is tightening up! Consistency and discipline is key to changing your body.

Off to the gym to train legs today. Going to be working on increasing my weight on my squats and deadlifts in the coming weeks. Failed at 80kg on Monday with my squats and did a 1RM at 75kg after 4 working sets between 60-70kg. Let’s see how I go today!! And other exciting news my gym now has a hip abduction/adduction machine! I have been wanting one of these for months and months, as only one other gym in my area has one! I’m so excited to be including these exercises and exercise variations in my leg days 🍑🍑

Trening er også mentalt krevende!
Skulle teste 1 rm i knebøy i dag. Målet var 180 kg 1 gang..
140 gikk lett, 160 gikk lett, 170 gikk greit og følte jeg hadde 180 inne...men var alene på senteret så turte faktisk ikke prøve :/ Men ble 12 single reps på 160 kg da..og det var lett som fjær! Fornøyd med det:)) Blitt mer fornuftig med åra 😂

La ventana anabólica... un tema que se vive escuchando en el mundo del Fitness. Pero la realidad... es que lo que suele decirse no es tan preciso como pensamos. -
Se piensa que si no comemos nuestra comida post entrenamiento en un tiempo determinado, por ejemplo 30-60 minutos después de haber entrenado, no vamos a aprovechar esta supuesta ventana anabólica para recuperarnos y sintetizar proteína de la mejor manera posible. Pero según lo que dice la ciencia, nuestro cuerpo pareciera ser mucho más sabio de lo que pensamos.

Por eso, contrario a lo que se suele pensar, que comamos media hora o 2 horas después de entrenar casi no va a tener influencia en cuanto a nuestros resultados, y mientras consumamos la cantidad suficiente de proteína a lo largo de todo el día (factor que sí es fundamental), nuestro cuerpo va a poder usar esa proteína en el momento que la necesite para recuperarnos, sin importar tanto cuándo es que la hayamos consumido.
