Super yummy and colourful meal preps this week 😋 chicken 🍗 and veggies cooked in spices and coconut cream 🥥kale stir fry, quinoa and of course, parsnips, because it’s Christmas all year round as far as I’m concerned. 🤶🏻

Had pole again today and we are already doing climbs and it’s only my second ever lesson 😬 but I managed to climb a little bit! Can’t wait until my skin gets strong enough so I don’t feel like I’m tearing my leg off every time my skin slides down the pole lol.

Today's smoothie, Blackberries, Banana, and Celery! My snack is packed and ready for day. Having yo plan meals ahead helps to prevent hungar madness. If there is no planning or I have eaten it all too early, the cookies will be my downfall.

Today's mealprep:
Couscous (seasoned with turmeric and chili) with spinach, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and green pepper. For dressing I use balsamic vinegar, linseed oil and lemon juice. And for dessert a mandarin. 😊
🇩🇪 Mein heutiges Mealprep:
Couscous (mit Kurkuma und Chili gewürzt) mit Banyspinat, Salat, Tomate, Gurke und grüner Paprika. Als Dressing verwende ich Balsamicoessig, Zitronensaft und Leinöl. Und als Dessert gibt es noch eine Mandarine. 😊

4 HABITS OF JACKED GUYS

Tracking macros is one thing, but if you want to truly be jacked, you need to incorporate simple habits into your lifestyle.

If you have these habits in your life, anything you want to accomplish will be easier, whether it's fat loss or muscle gain.

Eat protein at every meal. If you're lifting, you need a minimum protein of 0.82g/lb per day. So if you're 200lbs, that a MINIMUM of 164g of protein. For some people, you feel like Jabba the Hutt if you eat that much protein, but if you make it a habit to include a protein with every meal, then it's MUCH easier.

Eat veggies and fruits every day. You need fiber and micronutrients to live a healthy life. Aim for 3 Cups of veggies per day.

Don't drink liquid calories. Almost every obese person I've met drank loads of pop (soda), juice, and other calorie-containing beverages daily. If you want to be lean, switch to water.

Lift weights. You want to build muscle and look jacked? Lift weights. If you're afraid to go to the gym...screw it, just do it.
-

On tonight menu Tomato casserole with basmati rice and fresh greens. As I’m not bikini prep I make separate meals for myself and my family 😩 so I often make a huge pot of whatever I’m cooking and rice ready to freeze. Meal prep for the family is simple just make huge amounts and divide into serves, it’s cheap and easy! This tomato casserole has tomato base, sweet potato, red lentils, capsicum, zucchini, onion, carrot! 💥THE ESSENTIALS: POST WORKOUT💥

🐸Scroll through the internet machine and you'll hear all about the magical "anabolic window" in which, legend has it, if you don't eat precisely the right amount of protein and carbs at the exact necessary moment post-workout you immediately lose all your gainz and your muscles shrivel into nothing more than a pathetic string of tissue paper.

🦄Truth is, that's not how your body works. And so long as you get enough protein and calories by the end of the day...odds are you're going to be totally fine.
-
☕️That said, my personal preference is to get some protein (25 - 50g) and carbs (20 - 50g) within 30 - 90 min after I finish working out.

🏓Again, does it matter much if you wait longer than 90min? No. As long as your total calorie and protein are in check for the day, you're good. I just prefer to have it within 90 min because I didn't eat during the workout which means that's at least 3hrs without eating and cmon, Hagrid, I'm hungry!

🍳Don't forget --> if you miss your post workout swolfie and don't post it to IG (or at least stories) your workout didn't happen and your gainz will quickly pass. RIP.

Yuummmmm pan fried salmon with coconut oil, on a bed of cauliflower mash with a sauce I've made with 1/2 an onion, 1 slice of pancetta, 1 tomato diced, 3 mushrooms and a few mixed cherry tomatos, 1tsp pesto, 1tsp tomato paste, pepper and a dash of water... heaven.
