I have found that the key to weightloss is not snacking between meals. A principle known as the 4-4-12. When I first started training my body to go without snacks it was pretty difficult, but chewing sugar free gum was a life saver. Oh man, today's dinner was fingerlicking good! So I had to share!

Pearl barley
Broccoli
Chicken
Pumpkin seeds
Mustard
Olive oil

So flavoursome! I have my other half to thank, for he cooked the chicken.
And I get to have the same for tomorrow's lunch, with the added avocado, Brussel sprouts
and swapping out barley for potatoes.

I am so obsessed already and only 2 days into the new program.
And I am not craving sweets...at all...yet!

One of my biggest fears, in the run up to this new workout and nutrition plan, was following the timed meal plan.

How silly of me! These nifty little portion containers have made my life so much easier.
I know exactly what I need to have when, and how much of it. No second-guessing.
What a life saver!

So, this is my dinner:
1 green container, half a spiralled courgette
1 red container, mackerel
1 yellow container, cauliflower hollandaise sauce
1 blue container, mashed avocado
And, not pictured
1 purple container, Clementine
1 TSP, almond butter.

Sounds complicated, but in reality it could not be easier.
No calorie counting. No stressing over what a portion looks like.
Just whack the ingredients into containers and voila, dinner is served.

I am beyond excited for the rest of the program! And, I am not even worrying about not
being able to have any junk food for 80 days.
Pasta, rice, bread, pancakes, waffles - they are all allowed!

I feel these next three months will fly by.
