After sleeping funny on my neck my workout was wing it with any move that didn't require much head movement. That's honestly harder than it sounds.
30 minutes hiit with legs and then 10 minutes incline sprints up my driveway.

If youโ€™re like me, you appreciate a meal that is clean and healthy, but takes very little prep time, is a one-pot meal that makes A LOT, and doesnโ€™t have to be planned out in advance to cook all day!! I love these soups! So simple! And you can always add more to them if you wish... I added brown rice and ground turkey to this one (because if my hubby is going to eat just soup for dinner, he needs it to be โ€œheartyโ€). #easymeals #healthyrecipes #soupweather

Usually Im fine after my workouts.. I can pull 2 or 3 a days and experience the regular soreness... but TODAY this is me when I got home after my 2 classes tonight. Reason being... I missed a meal and did not eat before my workout. I also forgot my water so I did not properly hydrate. I had no energy, I was completely off... focus off. Lol. Moral of the story is #HYDRATE and #FUEL.

Proof that small changes add up. The left is today and the right is when I first moved to Long Beach.
I was working out consistently before moving and continued here but the big change has been nutrition and attitude. Organic vs non organic foods (meats included) and practicing daily gratitude have been key.
If youโ€™re in a plateau check your nutrition in attitude, you can usually do better. Keep pushing! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Granola is a favorite food of a lot of my clients, but did you know that it's one insanely sneaky source of added sugars!?๐Ÿ˜จ So what is ACTUALLY behind all the sneaky marketing granola brands try to hide behind like "PROTEIN" or "LOW-FAT" or "ALL NATURAL!"๐Ÿ˜‘?!? .

๐ŸŒป1. @nature_valley "PROTEIN" granola.. sounds like it's a granola that's healthy since it has extra protein right?๐Ÿ’ช NOPE. Instead, this guy is full of preservatives AND sugar... with the second biggest ingredient being just straight sugar. One 1/2 cup of this guy is 12G of sugar... which is almost 50% of your daily recommended intake of added sugars!๐Ÿ˜จ .
๐ŸŒป2. @traderjoeslist "LOW-FAT" granola... TRADER JOE'S HAS BETRAYED US. ๐Ÿ˜ญ I know a lot of people who are obsessed with TJ, but in the case of their low-fat granola, I'm pretty turned off. When you see "low-fat", that means they had to add extra sugar to make it still taste good ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜‘ .
๐ŸŒป3. @kindsnacks "ALL NATURAL" granola. Mmm, you guys already know how I feel about companies that use the words "ALL NATURAL" to trick you into thinking something is healthier than it really is!๐Ÿ˜‘.
๐ŸŒป4. @18rabbits granola. This is one of the few granolas I've found and tried that taste good AND don't have crappy sweeteners. They do include honey and maple syrup, but their total added sugars is over HALF as much other brands. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™Other faves: @micheles_granola toasted muesli, @purely_elizabeth muesli,
@wildwayoflife grain free, ๐Ÿ˜ OR you could make your own!! .
Again, sugar in moderation isn't bad. It's when those sneaky sugar grams start showing up in foods that you think might be more healthier than they are! SO keep an eye out on those ingredients list, peeps! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’ƒ

Oh man eating healthy on the road, such a challenge (see my Insta stories for how the day started so auspiciously and ended... it also ended well but in a different way!) most hotels will have oatmeal- this is oatmeal plus dried fruit, banana, and some banana slices. (The dried fruit and banana add plenty of sweetness so you can use that in place of sweetener or Iโ€™d go with a non-nutritive sweetener just to keep things more balanced)! Add a cup of coffee and voila! Dinner wasnโ€™t quite as healthful but sure was good (see my stories)!
