Thighs feeling it after leg day? The foam roller can be a useful tool for both warm up and recovery of the quadriceps (thigh) muscles

Foam rolling can be an effective way to improve flexibility and mobility, possibly without the detrimental affects that stretching can have on immediate power loss (MacDonald et al., 2014). Laying face down, roll yourself up and down, and side to side working through the entire thigh muscle, concentrating on any tender areas. Perform for 60-120 seconds on each leg.

Many times having a clearer path to knowing how to navigate 🔭 around your pain is what gets you better very quickly 🐇! Try this test by using a door frame, a door knob, anything stable 🚪and begin by doing some slow reps of squatting seeing what feels ☝️ non painful and ✌️the most natural or comfortable...it’s also natural that one day feels this way and maybe next week another way does! You’re punching your ticket to your path of enlightenment 🙌
