Thank you @fitlizzio for creating prone butterflies. I really feel this exercise working my outer glutes. If a "pump" is what you're looking for, this is a great exercise to try!

Easy and effective partner stretch to work on shoulder mobility and more importantly THORACIC MOBILITY.
When it comes to pressing, front squatting, overhead squatting and snatching more- thoracic mobility is an incredibly important part to making all of these happen.

Do you want a strong deep squat but struggle with mobility?

Adequate ankle dorsiflexion is an integral component of most sporting movements but is often overlooked. Especially relevant to the squat, limited range of movement in your ankle might be the cause of your poor form.
This is a simple dorsiflexion assessment you can do at home to see if you have enough ankle range of motion to squat with confidence.
1️⃣ Place your foot a fist width away from the wall
2️⃣️ Dive your knee towards the wall
3️⃣️ Keeping your heel on the ground

If the heel stays on the ground and your knee can touch the wall then we consider this sufficient range of motion. If you can't then it's probably a timely reminder to work on your mobility. Here is a basic run through of the deadlift. The key points are in the video. Stance width will vary depending on what you are lifting but in general around hip or shoulder width is where you should be. Sumo deadlift stance is different, yes, but that's why they have a different name.
