This is the Initiation well, located within the absolutely stunning Quinta Da Regaleira.

It is one of the few wells on the site that was never used for water. Instead, it was used for rituals and secretive initiation rites.
It's like an inverted tower... but with masonic principals. Like a re-birth, walking down to the core aka hell, and walking back up to heaven afterwards.

I hit my goal weight today that I set in end of September! I started my fitness nutrition routine in July when I felt super heavy, unproductive, and I knew I should be taking better care of my body. I recently went to doctors, and apparently in May 2017 I was 124 lbs? Currently after months Iโ€™m down to 107.8 lbs. itโ€™s definitely a long gradual journey and process! Stay active even for 15-30min a day makes a huge difference. Meal prepping has become enjoyable for me because I save $$ and also know what goes into my body! Find food that you like! For me itโ€™s berries, avo toast, salmon. @myfitnesspal has been helpful in terms of helping me keep a balanced nutritional diet! I donโ€™t starve trust me, I eat ๐Ÿ˜‚ but it also helps me with portion control and understanding most of the time Iโ€™m just craving and not actually hungry. Iโ€™ve been traveling a ton lately and holding onto my physique has been a natural challenge. Currently sitting at 175 lbs and 7% body fat, I get asked what I eat and drink everyday, and my answer is โ€œeverythingโ€. You can literally eat and drink anything you want, as long as you know what your body type needs!! Iโ€™m no doctor, but read on if you want my take:

Counting macronutrients - do you know how to calculate them?
โ€ข
โ€ข
Counting macros = the caloric content of protein, fat and carbs for your specific body type. Anyone with a fitness goal in mind SHOULD know how to properly fuel their body to build and repair muscle. โ€ข
โ€ข
How to calculate:
1. Find your maintenance. This is the # of calories you typically consume to stay exactly where youโ€™re at. Generally it will fall between a range of your current body weight x 15. (Ex- I weigh 175 lbs. My maintenance should hover around 175x15=2625 calories)
2. Protein: 0.5g - 1.2g per body weight. This depends on how active you are daily. (Ex- 175x1.2g=210g)
3. Fat: 25-40% of your body weight. (Ex- 175x.3=52.5g)
4. Carbs: The remainder of your calories. 1g of protein and carb equal 4 calories, respectively. 1g of fat equals 9 calories. Calculate how many calories youโ€™re consuming from your protein and fat, then take the difference from your maintenance to use it up for carbs. (Ex- 210x4=840 cal. 52.5x9=472.5 cal. 2625-1312.5=1312.5 cal. 1312.5/4=328g carbs)

Deduct 500-700 calories from your maintenance calories for a healthy and safe measure to lose weight. Again, this is just a general range for the average person. Finding your exact maintenance will definitely take some trial and error, but I hope you enjoy the process!
