I came in to hit a PR and I damn sure did it. There were a few minor setbacks I dealt with tonight (nausea + mental barriers), but that eventually went away as I kept telling myself to respect the iron and keep everything tight. I'm overall happy with this 45 pound PR and will continue to keep working towards my goals from now on. Big thanks to @pvstring_aep for the cues and having my back as always.

I find that my training suffers when intensity is low. Moving weight explosively, with intent works best for me. It is a common misconception that a weight must be moved slowly in order to be "controlled". In order to move heavy weights, it must be done quickly by creating the greatest amount of force possible. My mechanics need a little work, I'm happy with how this went considering I haven't been performing this movement regularly for months. 380 for 3x5 followed by 250 for 2x15 ๐Ÿ˜ต
