2018.... so far, so good
I’m not big on resolutions, but I do like to set goals. What goals are you working on this year?
This year I really wanted to focus on two things: my gratitude and my savings.
I’ve started writing in a gratitude journal every day and I super love it! It’s become my favorite part of my day.
I’m also trying to save as much money as possible, eventually having 3 months worth in my emergency savings account. This isn’t nearly as fun as my first goal, but something I’ve been proud of (bc it’s really hard for me to save, haha). Baby steps here, but it’s coming along.
I love this time of year when you reflect on the current year and look forward to a new one. If this year could be described in one word, it would be: rollercoaster.
I cannot count how many ups and downs... New trips and adventures were the highlight I checked 4 new states off the list and re-visited some of my all time fave places. On the flip side, there were days I didn’t think I could get out of bed and pretend like everything was fine. I did though. I experienced every emotion imaginable and sometimes all at once.
I’m grateful. Grateful for the highs and the lows. Without the lows, I probably wouldn’t have truly appreciated the highs.
Cheers to growing each and every year. I’m excited to see what 2018 brings

All words I would use to describe this weekend.
Friday afternoon I booked a flight to Denver, reserved a rental car and a hotel room. Saturday morn I woke at 4 am, flew to Denver and drove to Wichita, Kansas... all to see the always amazing @marenmorris.
Oh the memories! Although I am now exhausted, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
How freaking cool was that eclipse? One of the most amazing things I've ever seen!
Ok, so I know it's still hot as hell out, but that ain't stopping me from wearing this fAB moto jacket! Just throw on your fave shorts and booties and you're good to go.
PS- these shorts (that I love) are 30% off right now. Shop here>> http://liketk.it/2ssXF #liketkit
