It’s unbelievable how big of an impact you have on people that you don’t even know. Today at the gym I was super unmotivated and just didn’t want to be there. I did a few different leg movements & ✌️ quick circuits to work up some kind of sweat and called it a day. As I went back into the locker room, this lady who was in the other room with me asked me if I had been working out for a long time. I laughed and said yeah, probably about 6 or 7 years now. We ended up having this short, but great conversation about how once something (like the gym) becomes a part of your day, it’s hard to skip it altogether; even if you’re not super motivated to go every time πŸ™ƒ
She and her adorable daughter left & she thanked me for talking with her & giving her some tips on making the gym a habit. All the way home it made me think about all the people just getting started with their fitness journeys and how I use to think exercise was more of a task, something that I β€œhad” to do to reach my goals. But now that the habit is formed, I look forward to going after work, and simply by showing up everyday; it’s making an impact on people around me.
