First time in a long time putting the wraps on for high bar. I liked it, but in addition to being sore from my unplanned maxout two days ago the wrap job felt a little off. Kind of seemed like the wraps were slipping down the front of my knee at the bottom of the rep. I'll need to make some adjustments.
Regardless of feeling off I'm happy with the work out. These are all high bar PR's, but I have a lot more in the tank than this.

Online nutrition client Alexis starting to recomposition her body. Getting to a good point with your metabolism takes time. She has been patient through a few manipulations early on to be able to now increase food as she will continue to lean. Most people will not take the time to do this, and that's where they fail. Long term outlook should always be priority. This is why my long term clients eat so much food, they stay patient through the process.

Here she is up 10 pounds and working to build dense muscle and grow throughout her whole body. Meet prep has been overall rough. Because of an accident my elbow is hurting, and squatting low bar is all but impossible without intense pain. I decided to give high bar a shot and well... 40lb PR, walked out, not fresh or 100%. We'll see if it transfers to wraps, but I think I'm gonna go HB in two weeks. Feeling good about today, I need some momentum and I think I found it

Deadlifts from yesterday. Focused on getting my shoulders back more and fixing foot position. Definitely helped, but didn't fix my mechanical issues. Almost had 585 but I lost both my grip and tightness in my bowels.
I was told after my second attempt at 585 that I needed to emphasize hips through after the bar passes my knees. 495 felt great after exercising that queue. Hopefully next week I can finally get some kind of PR.

Finally had another good training day during meet prep.
Squats went decent the other day, but I've been experiencing some moderate to severe pain in my elbow since last Saturday when I received the worst spot of all time and ended up falling backward with 570 on my back.
I needed a good bench day, and going in I was really nervous my elbow wouldn't hold up. It was just fine though, and I PR'd raw at 365 (I've done that weight once before, but TnG), and in the bench daddy with 405x2.
