So, I’ve been vegetarian for 2 years now & I’m trying to convert to vegan. I’ve done so much research & have changed my lifestyle so incredibly much. Everything I purchase is also cruelty free. This is me just reminding myself that even though I’ve hit rock bottom often here lately that no matter what I do I somehow manage to find some peace in the sky and the trees and the sun and moon and all the things. I’ve tried to manage what I expose myself to because I am extremely sensitive & this world we live in can really test you at times. For the first time in my life I am working toward the Kylie I know I can be. Some days I eat too much, and cry about it... then cry more about all the animals and people in life who never get a fair chance. Other days I laugh until I cry and tell everyone I love them and they are special. I feel crazy... mostly because I am but at least I’m cute, right? 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️😜 anyway thanks for letting me ramble but really what I’m saying is if you’re hurting a little or feel lost... just look up. The universe has ways of taking care of you. Go get some fresh air and stare at some trees & clouds. Tonight’s dinner was my take of what used to be a favorite of mine, “shrimp and grits” but instead of shrimp I substituted in some smothered mushrooms with crispy tofu that I used to garnish in place of pieces of bacon and a fried egg because why not? Hoje estava fuçando meu insta e achei esse tostex deuso que já fiz muuuuitas vezes. Como não posso comer pão diariamente (pelo fermento biológico), faço muito esse tostex para enganar a lombriga amante de pão doce. 😬 É tão maravideuso que quis repostar aqui para vocês. E, claro, é #semglúten, #semlactose, #semovo, #semsoja e #vegan. 😉.
🍞Ingredientes🍞
1 colher (sopa) de linhaça dourada triturada (ou inteira) de molho em 3 cs de água por 20min
1 colher (sopa) de farinha de amêndoas
1 colher (sopa) de farinha de quinoa
1 colher (sopa) de farinha de arroz integral
1 colher (sopa) de cacau em pó 100%
1 colher (sopa) de óleo de coco
1 colher (chá) de açúcar de coco ou qualquer outro açúcar
1 colher (chá bem cheia) de fermento químico
Água ou leite vegetal até dar ponto (tipo massa de bolo)
🍞Modo de fazer🍞
Com um fouet ou garfo, mexa tudo muito bem até obter uma massa homogênea. Leve a cozinhar em fogo beeem baixo numa frigideira pequena (uso uma omeleteira, assim fica altinho; se a frigideira for grande vai ficar como uma panqueca), virando para assar bem dos dois lados. 😉 Cortei ao meio e recheei com pasta de amendoim integral! Hmmm, delícia! 😋

PLATES🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 Finally after weeks of building up my strength, I’m able to comfortably squat 135 lbs for reps without a spotter. I’m slowly falling in love with heavy lifting again, there’s honestly no better feeling than watching/feeling your body get stronger💪🏼 one of the most crucial parts of building strength is NUTRITION. I would not be able to do this if I weren’t fueling my body with the right food. Starving yourself is not the solution, it will only set you up for failure in the long run. Give your body what it needs to function properly, there should not be any reason to go on a “diet” or cut “bad” foods out of your life. When you live a balanced life you can treat yourself to a cookie or piece of cake once in a while, in fact it’s good to do this. If you’re eating whole, nutritious foods majority of the time then having a treat here and there will not hinder your progress by any means😊 I’m curious, how many of you would be interested in following a basic strength training/nutrition guide if I decide to write one out?🤔 comment below or DM me!🙌🏽💪🏼
