Dont try to carry mountains that you're supposed to climb, or something like that

This eroded wall filled with ferns was just starting to come back to life the time I had walked through. If you look closely at all the dead under foliage you can see that they all drowned from flooding. The photo was taken between the dividing point of two mountains that recently had suffered extensive erosion damage from the storms that passed a few weeks prior. While you’ll see interesting landscapes caused by the flooding it’s not for the faint of heart to wander around in them because mudslides and runaway boulders can quickly happen without no warning as I witnessed back in the Pichincha mountains. A week before I had come to the south I had passed through those mountains and after descending several miles I looked back in the distance and saw that a huge part of that same mountain I crossed through earlier that day had literally been swept away from a mud slide caused by the storms. 5/2015

West Texas has amazing star gazing opportunities thanks to its remote location. We stopped by the McDonald Observatory, a part of UT Austin near Fort Davis to attend their popular Star Party. I’ve never seen so many stars before! We learned about various stars and constellations and even saw the International Space Station fly by. The best part was viewing the moon’s craters through the observatory’s powerful telescopes. Tickets routinely sell out so buy in advance!⠀

Prada Marfa is an art installation 30 minutes from the town of Marfa, Texas. The fake Prada store was installed in 2005 and has become a cultural landmark (and popular grammable spot). It’s been repeatedly vandalized since opening and has had its merchandise stolen, so now they only stock handbags with their bottoms cut out. ⠀

That time a tick buried itself in my lash line. I had an annoying guy staying with me at the time and everyone thought we got in a fistfight.
