TGIF! We’re so excited to show you some of the amazing and beautiful cats and kittens we’ll have up for adoption this weekend. This is such a special group, and we’re really hoping we can find loving families for each of them this weekend. If you live in the LA area, please spread the word and help us find their forever homes! Location info is available on our Facebook page.
This is Sammy! Doesn’t he just have the sweetest face? He’s super friendly, and loves cuddling and playing. He also just celebrated his first birthday yesterday 🎂🎈 We know it’s supposed to be a secret, but we’re pretty sure that when he blew out his birthday candles, he wished that someone would give him a forever home. Help us give Sammy the best birthday ever, and adopt this sweet little guy into your family! 💕🐱
This is Champ! At 18 years old, this sweet and lovable guy is our oldest Sanctuary resident. He loves treats, napping, and hanging out in the kitchen with our caretakers and volunteers 💙

Our kittens are all the #mondaymotivation we need here at Kitten Rescue! No matter how tough or tiring things get, our mission to save as many cats as possible and turn Los Angeles into a no-kill city keeps us working hard for these amazing little creatures. This one’s name is Eric - he was rescued from a city shelter and is currently being cared for in our Nursery 💖🐱
Meet our resident fluffball, Corduroy! This special guy unfortunately caught Panleuk while he was in the city shelter, and there was a time where we didn’t think he was going to make it. Corduroy stayed strong, though, and is now a goofy, playful, energetic kitten who loves to cuddle and wants endless attention — and we’re happy to provide it! 💖
Cabernet, Merlot, Pinot, Chianti, Burgundy, and Malbec were rescued from East Valley Shelter earlier this month, when they were just three weeks old. Shortly after arriving, we noticed something about these kittens: their legs were growing in crooked, and bended at odd angles. We immediately sent them to the amazing bone and joint specialists at ACCESS in Culver City, who diagnosed them with carpal laxity syndrome. The causes of the disorder aren't clear, but it's much more common in puppies, and is assumed to be the result of an imbalance in growth rates between the bones and tendons of the animal's front limbs. Each kitten in this litter is exceptionally sweet and affectionate, and we want to make sure they're given a chance to grow up healthy, happy, and strong. However, they're also going to need extra care and frequent checkups in the near future, which is a large undertaking for an entire litter. Please click the link in bio to donate to the Hope Fund, and help us provide these six brothers and sisters with all the proper care and medical attention to ensure their legs are treated. Let's give them a chance to experience all the playful, goofy fun and excitement that comes along with being a kitten!
This is Sarabi! She's a very special girl, for a few reasons. First, female orange tabbies are super rare -- when she first came in, we just assumed she was a boy! 😅 Second, shortly after arriving in our Nursery, Sarabi was diagnosed with a severe case of pneumonia 🤒 but thanks to our amazing caretaking team and veterinary partners, she's now a happy and healthy little kitten, who as you can see, loves having her picture taken 📸🐱 We just can't get over how sweet she is 💖💖💖
Our wonderful Kitten Cam family is all grown up and ready to be adopted into their forever homes! This was one of our biggest litters ever, with EIGHT goofy, loving, happy kittens plus one very special mama cat. Thank you to everyone who has watched them grow on our Explore.org live stream, and donated toys for them to play with and blankets to snuggle on! If you'd be interested in adopting some of these amazing kittens into your family, please let us know 💖🏡
We're excited to introduce you all to some of our newest Sanctuary cats! These kitties have ended up in our sanctuary over the last two months for a variety of reasons -- maybe they have a chronic medical condition or are FeLV+, are older and less likely to be adopted, or maybe their owners gave them up. Whatever the reason is, what these cats now have in common is that they will be safe, loved, and cared for in our Sanctuary, instead of euthanized in a shelter or left on the streets. Just coincidentally, all of them happen to be extremely friendly and good-natured, so come by the Sanctuary, say hi, and give them some extra attention as they adjust to their new home!
Ever wonder how far a $25 donation goes at Kitten Rescue? Here's just a few examples of how a relatively small donation can have a huge impact: $25 buys an entire tray of vaccines, to protect several litters of kittens from deadly diseases. It can also buy 3 cases of formula for bottle feeding, two bags of blankets, or a box full of toys for our Sanctuary cats. Click the link in bio to donate today, or send PayPal donations to email@example.com 💕🐱
We're a little concerned at Kitten Rescue... because the kittens we have up for adoption this weekend are so unbearably cute, and we're not sure if you guys will be able to handle it! 😹 And this weekend, we even have a puppy, too! 🐶 Come visit us at any of our weekend adoption events, and help these beautiful babies find their forever homes 🏡💕 DM us for addresses, or find them on our Facebook page! 📍
