Archive: Shooting wind turbines off the coast of Denmark. Shot for one day via boat and the next in a Eurocopter 120. Produced by @petetheproducer While I was shooting the windturbines, @timpannell1 was shooting portraits in the factory in Jeppsberg for the same campaign. #denmark #windpower #energy #advertisingphotography #landscapephotography #water #ocean #leafdigitalback #hasselblad
Archive: Great Dismal Swamp straddles southeastern virginia and Northeastern North Carolina - home to Black Bear, the occasional Alligator and Lake Drummond. One of my favorite places in Virginia. Thinking of warm days there instead of the Polar Freeze outside my front door. #virginia #greatdismalswamp
Archive: Hanging with photog buddies @film_shooter_yvr @jccalverley @jefferysalter after Julian taught a workshop for @phaseonephoto and @captureintegration in @olympicnationalpark. Spent four days eating huge breakfasts, getting soaked to the bone and shooting wet and foggy landscapes. Good times!! #olympicnationalpark @alpacameras #landscapephotography
Archive: Cite Soleil, one of the worst slums in Port au Prince and extremely dangerous. It lies along a stretch of polluted water that is used for ... well, everything. Shot a few weeks after the January 2010 earthquake. #haiti #citisoleil #portauprince #earthquake #aerialshoot #aerialphotography
Archive: Haiti Earthquake. The 7.0 earthquake struck on Jan 12th, 2010 at 4:53 in the afternoon. The epicenter of the quake was the small town of Leogane. The death toll was between 100 to 160 thousand people. The Presidential Palace (shown here) was destroyed along with thousands of homes. Shot from a Robinson R-44 helicopter that was used for medical missions. I was able to secure and pay for one hour of flight time at double the normal rate. (Basically a donation to help fund other medical flights). Shot with a Nikon D3s and the trusty 70-200 using VR since I did not have my gyroscopes with me. #haiti #earthquake #robinsonr44 #nikond3s #aerialshoot #aerialphotography #naturaldisaster
