My sweet, sweet girl. Words can’t even come close to just how hard today was. Quite possibly my hardest day since losing mason. Lacey was starting to become overran by tumors. The first and largest that we knew about was on her chest effecting the way she walked. She was no longer herself. I’d like to think we put her to rest saving her. But I’ll do my best to remember her as the loving, sweet girl I brought home almost 10.5 years ago. You have us a hell of a 10 years and I will never forget you. I love you. Rest easy.
Soaking up the last couple hours I have with this precious girl at my home. I brought my childhood pup home with me for a few days while I had days off of work. It’s been filled with endless snuggles luckily Blue adjusted quickly but I think he’ll be happy when she is back at my parents house and is the only big bad wolf in the house
As of Wednesday the 22nd, I am officially a registered nurse. ⚕️ Yesterday was my first day in orientation and I am so stinkin excited for this next step in my career. IU has been amazing with their support in me needing time to study for boards and have made this transition pretty dang easy. I’m proud to work for them. #registerednurse #nurselife #nurse #ipassednclex
Tonight was fucking fantastic! I got to talk to @hoodieallen at the merch table and get another shirt signed! Thank you so much for such an amazing night. It was our 5th time seeing you and there were no disappointments! Thanks for throwing my cake!!! #TheHype #thehypeworldtour #hoodiemob #hoodieallen
Throw back to graduation night because today was officially my LAST DAY OF NURSING SCHOOL!!!! It never seemed like this day would get here. And it really is. I started school 6 years ago....I had no idea what in the hell I was doing when I started. But I met some beautiful souls along the way and I’m and thankful for every single one of them. Even the ones that hurt me. It was a long road but I’m so happy I could dance all over the place! Next big thing to accomplish will be to pass my licensure exam!!!

I don't think anyone other than my family and really close friends realize how important this picture is to me. When I started my nursing program 2 years ago in July of 2015. My dad was given 6-18 months to live. If you do the math, we are well beyond the timeline of that. I am so grateful of the opportunity for me to have him at my ceremony tonight. I saw him walk through the doors of the auditorium tonight and started to tear up because he gets to witness this momentous occasion with me. I love my dad dearly. I take appreciate every single day that I call him and it is him answering the phone. I still have 6 weeks of classes left until I am really finished, but I have done all of this hard work for him. I love you dad.
