A knitter's worst nightmare: I have a moth infestation. It's not catastrophic, but there's a lot if yarn in the freezers and a lot of projects soaking in vinegar and water.
This Cascade Eco Wool was the worst, in part because there is so much of it, but also because I think it was Patient Zero. I had projects planned for it (I'd been frogging the knitted bits to reuse the yarn), but after all the work I've put into saving the yarns and projects I love, I'm beginning to think I should just chuck this stuff. Do you think I might regret it if I did? To aid in your helping me make up my mind, I've had this stuff since I started knitting about 9 years ago.... Aaannnnddd I think I just made up my mind.
I'm doing some fun tv socks! This is my Outlander sock. The white stripes are for Claire-centric scenes and the grey ones are supposed to be for Jamie-centric scenes, but since this episode was all Claire, these grey ones are Bri and Roger stripes. I don't really know how I'll stripe after this episode....The other sock will be a Poldark sock with the same general idea.
I got a goodie in the mail today, but...what? "As one who regularly teaches the Religion of Africa/African Philosophy course at your school...," yeah, if "Religion of Africa" actually means Ancient Egyptian mythology in tiny tidbits during an ancient myth course, sure. Or maybe by "African Philosophy" you mean the philosophies (and religions) of Apuleius and Augustus?
I'm totally going to read it anyway.
