We love this shot of Catherine-Marie Longtin’s studio at Vanguard Court in Camberwell.
Catherine-Marie makes minimalist abstract quilts. She draws her inspiration from traditional quilting whilst making visual reference to the aesthetics of minimalism and abstract expressionism. She designs her pieces directly on her studio wall and, through a back and forth process, between concept and construction, her quilts take shape.
You can visit the studio on the 2nd and 3rd December as part of our winter open studios.
