Thankful for this morning ritual. Li'l Kitty curled up on my lap, hot cup of coffee in my hand and the sun spilling into my house casting rainbows on the ceiling and walls as it filters through the emerald-green crystal hanging in the window. #Thanksgiving

There is a strange glow filling the lobby this morning. Some people stand silent as mesmerized in it's power! Is it...can it be....dare we say it??? The SUN has reappeared!

Li'l Kitty loves all the attention she's getting from Becca. I think her little contented "smile" looks like Yoda.

Power went off RIGHT BEFORE I start getting ready for church. Did I mention I'm visiting & singing for a church about an hour away? This is how I roll! Take that, you sneaky Devil, you! #nocurlingiron #makeupbycandlelight #"JustAsIAm"...literally!

Li'l Kitty loves it when I start changing the season-themed decorations. This Summer rose wreath seems to have found a good reason to stay out of the storage box a little longer.

"Somewhere in my childhood I must have done something good"! Small treats, an amethyst crystal and a lavish ticket to spoil myself a little - all wrapped with hand-decorated tissue paper and sage-green yarn in a little brown box. When my daughter was born I knew my life had suddenly taken on a new purpose...that I had been given a most extraordinary treasure...and that she would forever be stretching my horizons and shaping my dreams. Thirty four years, one week and six days later she still causes my heart to sing.

End of the day stroll where the sun sets at my front door. (Or so it would appear)
