I do love my job I am lucky to have my own gym and find a job I love with a passion! Coaching and helping others is what makes my days great. Everyone @imperialbodiesgym makes it what it is and having classes that are full to new people joining everyday means it is all worth it. The days are long, finding a good work/life balance has been really tough for my children and that is a focus for me this year as well as pushing the gym to be even greater than it is. I am making it happen. #food YUMMY!! Working the hours I do I get little time to prepare meals for myself so I rely on the fab range of ready meals available in supermarkets and this new range from @dereksarno @wickedhealthy look amazing and my first taste did not disappoint! Calories came in at 531 with 15g protein, whilst I need more protein I did eat a homemade chilli so for me this was perfect! There is no excuse not to eat well and for those who overeat this is a great way to get your portions under control #fillingfood #tastyfood #healthyfood #foodisfuel #fuelmegood
Today was tough for me! Not sure if it is tiredness or fact I have been running around lots today, either way I had to have a good word with myself during the session. Doing what you find easy never gets results, sticking with what you are hard at and working at making them easy is a #headfuck and I wanted to quit ♀️ if I had written the programming myself I would have, I refuse to quit when I am accountable to @julessterling26 #NinjaGymnastics I need to get better and I will scaling movements is great! Today was a squat day with some power cleans, low volume high weights and focusing on the muscles and technique. It’s easy to get lost when you have no specific goals to train for so I’m grateful I have the opportunity to move and be surrounded by so many people who inspire me. The members @imperialbodiesgym are amazing and they all train hard! This year I set a goal to be better at my gymnastics, to do that I need to focus on building a strong foundation for movements that require skill and strength, this means I need to commit to hours upon hours of practice. Doing what you’re good at is easy. Finding motivation to work at what you find difficult is a challenge. I have a few goals this year but this one is my biggest, my first session was fun but it sucked! We all need to invest in others to help us and I am excited to see what @julessterling26 makes happen for me I may know what I need to do and how to programme but seeking a specialist to be accountable to gives you focus and more determination to succeed.

So today I joined @mastersunited1 @ryanhadleycrossfit @intensusww @fitnessflake and Simon Wilson-Storey for some #CrossFit so we played with our #Snatch and before starting I set out to smash my PB of 52.5kg and did it!! Last time I did snatch was 25 October so to achieve 54.5kg today was AMAZING! I have to credit the #bicepcurls I did on Wednesday with @simonnieland which had left me with crazy Doms until this morning and obviously being surrounded by amazing people meant I had to do what I set out to achieve! I am a winner and my mindset is where it needs to be for success #weareourthoughts I will never change but do wish I would train consistently so I could do better thanks @dawnyratch and @xfit2002 for the encouragement I will try and be more aggressive great morning with great people!

CONFUSED ABOUT FAT LOSS?
I would be with all the options for fat loss out there and everyone giving their advice on how to improve results.
What works for one person won't be the solution for another so please stop asking your friends how they got their results.
Weight Loss and Fat Loss are totally different, something many people are unaware of.
Drinking coffee or adding herbs and spices to meals will not help fat loss or make a big enough difference to how your body uses energy (it defies science)
Energy is Energy.
It comes (we eat it) and it goes (we use it)
if we have too much everyday then we store too much and get fatter.
If we use more than we eat everyday then we lose fat.
Find what works for you.
Don't look for a short term fix, choose something that fits in with your lifestyle, your families lifestyle, your work and fitness demands.
Eat smart and move and you can achieve anything.

So like the rest of 2017 the last day has tested my ability to overcome challenges and thanks to great friends and people around me I won I have lost many people this year but I have gained many more who have been there without asking. As a business owner and single mum to 4 AMAZING children life is a daily struggle and every single day it never beats me. Life is shit if that’s how your mind works but that is not me. So I am grateful 2017 for all the lessons because I am a better person than I could ever have imagined and those who care will always be there To those who are always there for me I am grateful and love you all. 25 Bear Position Shoulder Taps (25 each arm)
