Lots of swimming and not many shots, should have stayed on the beach.

@joeypinheiro man handling the backwash during Friday mornings session.

@alex_alexalex locked into more than his fair share of tubes on Friday.

The back wash got pretty silly this morning. @sseeland some how managed to stick this one.

Prayers going out to the Caribbean islands being hit by Irma right now. It's so beautiful down there, hopefully they recover quickly after this.

Yesterday was one solid. Spent 7 hours surfing and took an hour to take a few shots. Wish I could do that everyday.

Spent most of the day surfing but managed to get in long enough for a life guard to yell at me and go in to look for a cop to write me a ticket. Gotta love summer time.

Dropped off a couple prints today for this fundraiser for @bencurr next week at @jamiansfd . Should be a fun night come out and join.

Last year my waterhousing was out for repair for the beginning of hurricane season. Luckily @bencurr let me borrow his old one and I was able to shoot during Hermine. Stoked Ben is out of the hospital and on the mends. Looking forward to seeing him out in the water again soon.

Maybe I'll travel to a spot where i can see the full eclipse in 7 years instead of shooting it on my back deck during my lunch break.

Fellow surf photographer and friend @bencurr suffered a heart attack the other day. Ben was super stoked to shoot on Wednesday but when I talked to him that morning I had found out he had suffered a heart attack and was in the hospital. There's a gofundme setup to help him out the link is in his bio.

Looked too much fun not to surf so here's a shot from when the swell started to drop and the sun came out.

Hurricane hype is in full effect .

Mitch Coleborn killing it on a perfect day at Restaurants.

That time we drove up to New England after a blizzard to go surfing and I slipped down the stairs at 5 in the morning with my 7'6 under my arm. @joeypinheiro @alex_alexalex

3💬

Literally no one on it. @sseeland I bet this still hurts.

3💬

Sunburn or windburn?

My favorite fisheye shot I took in Fiji as seen on my @whalebonemagazine feature. Pretty much the view you goto Cloudbreak for

There's a feature on my trip to Fiji last summer live on @whalebonemagazine . The link is in my bio.

Sometimes the ocean can make you feel pretty small.

Cruising on my 7'6 this spring. This was actually a pretty shitty day of surf the wind was howling onshore all day but @clay_pollioni and I kept checking it thinking it was going to clean up. Looked about chest high before I paddled out turned out to be a little bigger. Thanks Mr. Higgins for the 📷

An old sunset with some added motion in photoshop.

2💬

Still amazed that @robkellysurf stuck this drop this winter. This thing was so heavy.

13💬

Right on the beach but the view is probably worth it.

2💬

We spent the entire night before driving and scored epic conditions all morning. It was still firing as the sunset but no one had it in them to put their frozen wetsuit back on to get one last hour session in.

3💬

@mvgleason in a less than ideal spot in the lower right about to take this one on the head. The wave before probably made it worth it though.

One of my favorite fisheye shots of @pedroboonman last year during my stay at @thunderbombsurfcamp . The sunrise could have been insane but they were burning sugar cane before the rainy season started so there was a thick haze that let through just a little bit of sunlight.

4💬

One of the best south swells of the winter that had an epic sunset to go with it.

Summer morning, June 2015.

Today reminded me that summer can be a fickle beast. Sometimes you get skunked with south wind for both your sessions and sometimes you get giant close outs in warm water. Unfortunately I got skunked both sessions today but back in 2014 @sseeland got a nice close out barrel.
