Congrats @wework for making this change. I love this common sense “forward” thinking. I hope this influences all the early stage companies under their collective roofs to make similar environmentally conscious business decisions. Very proud to be a member of this community.

So proud of my “little girl” for finishing her first climbing competition. She’s so strong and focused. Can’t wait to see her up there again.

Day 34: Things that made me happy today: @mindbodyhearttherapy taking both kids so that I could start the day with a sunrise ride up into the hills. The spectacular visuals created by the hot air and wind, as it blew small bits of debris into the first rays of sun, and made the pacific ocean look like it was steaming. @skinnymike21 withstanding some big gusts while descending at 52 mph. A very welcomed mild pace back down PCH to stay safe in the exceptionally heavy traffic. A quick cappuccino with good friends before my bathroom sink rinse off at the office, and the first meetings of the day. Lunch with my brother from another mother, @skychristopherson . Catching up on his adventures abroad and the highs and lows of tech entreprenuership. Trying to tell him a story about Oliver but I couldn’t stop laughing long enough to get it out, to the point where people were asking if I was okay. Working with @erictheerk in the office today and being able to find the humor in our business challenges. Stopping in for a quick repair at Helens and getting to chat with @thesherrifoxworthy about how nuts Oliver is. Danielle grabbing a variety of salads and snacks for dinner from 365. Oliver turning to me after sitting on a couch bundled up in a blanket while it’s 90 degrees inside and finally saying, “I’m sweating. It’s dripping all over me. Are you sweating?” Hiding out in Estella’s room with the A/C, chatting with her about math tests, her scrapbooks, and climbing. A bit of chill time with Danielle watching some GoT! #100happydays

Day 33: Things that made me happy today. To be honest, it’s much more difficult to do this on gnarly work days when I don’t have any breaks. I have to dig a lot deeper and look for the fleeting moments or big picture surroundings of the space outside may computer screen and phone. Happy to wake up to hugs from Oliver. Getting an early start to make and it breakfast burritos with the kids. Having a few extra minutes with Oliver while Danielle took Stelly to school. For living so close to my office that forgetting my laptop charger at home only meant a 15 minute round trip jaunt on my bike (which also made me happy). That I have so many health to-go eating options near work for those days when munching over a keyboard is necessary. Searching some photography of local shots, and realizing what beautiful and iconic place I live in. That my week of migrating computer workstations is just about complete. For a delicious dinner that Danielle cooked to be waiting for me minutes after my last call for the day wrapped up. How funny Oliver is, even in his moments of peaking at being a turd. I seriously have such a hard time not laughing, even when he is doing horrible things. Having a bit of time before bed to fight with him (his favorite). Looking forward to cranking my Chilipad down to 60 degrees in anticipation of a very hot night. #100happydays

Day 32: Things that made me happy this weekend. Yeah, I missed a few days. But I’ve been keeping lots of notes :-) Yesterday I woke up in next to Oliver inside our little tent, after a blustery and sleepless night. We were warm in our sleeping bags, and bundled up in the fall weather to make hot chocolate and coffee. Making breakfast under the trees and how he eats at least twice as much if we cook outside. Watching him power through the trail out of camp, carrying all his own gear and stopping every hiker to say “Hi! Look what I have!” -turning around to show his backpack. Having him help unpack all our backpacking tear in the garage and have him help mount a tire and brake rotor. Taking an amazing nap with him after a really rough night of sleep in the wind. Danielle making chocolate chip cookies (my favorite) while we slept. Bringing the whole family over to Drew’s house for a BBQ and getting to catch up with friends. Danielle making Potato Leek Soup for dinner (another one of my favorites). Ending the day by trimming up the Mohawks for Oliver and I. One of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time. This morning, Danielle took Oliver so that I could go on an early ride with @drewkog that turned into an insane adventure with multiple trips through Old Topanga and across Mulholland, and finally in the dirt on our road bikes. Watching the sun come up over PCH. The farthest views I’ve ever seen in LA on all the vistas. My tires lasting way longer than I expected through the many sections of jagged rock gardens we traversed. Knowing that we really tried everything before I waived the white Uber flag and stopped the Garmin just shy of 10k’. How nice the guy was about packing my filthy bike (and filthy self) into his nice new SUV. Tacos at @bennystacos (first real food of the day at 4pm) with Stelly and Oliver. A delicious dinner (yup, was still hungry) that Danielle made. A few minutes to get back to this routine and hang out with Danielle before going to sleep. #100happydays

Day 22: Things that made me happy today. Sleeping in until 6:30 with a little snuggle time with Oliver until 6:45. A full morning of productive calls and catch up from being out all of yesterday. Getting to do a bit of creative work. A lunchtime yoga class and getting to catch up with @bryan_kest about our kids, hiking, camping, and connecting with nature. Stopping at REI for some backpacking food and fuel canisters, then fresh seafood market for dinner, all in 15 minutes before cycling home - love how I can do all these things on a bike just minutes from my home and office. A huge hug from Oliver when I got home and his excitement over his fun day. Getting to do a bit of collaborative cooking with Danielle after we got home around the same time. Getting out to the garage to patch a tubeless tire weeks after I punctured it and had to get the rim repaired. A little time to catch up on these thoughts and hang out with Danielle. #100happydays

Day 21: Things that made me happy today [Wednesday] Danielle getting the kids together so that I could meet Jeff for a ride up Las Floras. Reaching the top of that fu#*ing hill. The flowing descent down Stunt. A conversational paced climb back up to catch up with an old friend. A hot cappuccino and incredibly delicious grain bowl back at the @rapha_n_america clubhouse. Getting back to take Stelly to school and Oliver along for the ride. A safe traverse up and down the 405 to Orange County for a meeting that I feel went really well. Making it back just in time for a meeting in Santa Monica with ten minutes to spare for a quick bite. Getting to see Danielle and kids for a little while before heading out a board meeting. How fired up Oliver was to have get his own titanium mug and spork for backpacking. Danielle having really good chicken soup waiting for me when I finally got home at 10 - the fourth bowl tasted just as good as the first. #100happydays

Day 20: Things that made me happy today: Danielle taking care of the kids this morning so that I could go ride with my friends before sunrise. Seeing @ken_nelly out there on a big climb after being out with an injury for so long. That the whole crew made it safely back down Tuna Canyon and PCH on a particularly crazy day of traffic. My favorite day of the week when @erictheerk is in the office and we get to collaborate in person. Tacos at @bennystacos for brunch. Getting to collaborate with @lindahonan11 and her team at @neuehouse and finally meet a NYC client in person after many months of work. A delicious salad made by Danielle after I got home 13 hours after leaving this morning. Watching Oliver laugh hysterically at a quickly deflating balloon zip across the room. How happy Stelly is with the way her 8th grade year book picture turned out. A little time for Danielle and I to hang out in a quiet house before bed. #100happydays

Day 19: Things that made me happy today [Monday]: Spending the morning with the kids before work and how Oliver always wants to come along when taking Stelly to school. Projects heating up at work, and the feeling of a full day. A delicious and healthy dinner that @mindbodyhearttherapy made. Hearing about how much effort she puts into their full days together to ensure he has such great experiences. Getting some time to hang out with her and watch a bloody episode of GoT. Oliver falling asleep on my chest after waking up from a bad dream. #100happydays

When your Di2 battery dies and you go back home to get the cable, and charge it while hammering up PCH in the dark to (unsuccessfully) catch the group, but get to the top of Saddlepeak in time for one of your friends to capture you suffering as the sun rises. 📷 @jwhcowan @kask_cycling

Day 18: Things that made me happy today: Waking up outside in a tent with Oliver and seeing how excited he is when his eyes open. Cooking breakfast on a camp stove and while the sun comes up. Hiking out and watching him catch beetles and attempt to catch lizards. Driving straight to the farmer’s market to meet Danielle. Having a very well-deserved afternoon nap with him. Having a bit of time alone to unpack and get things put away while Danielle took him on errands, and also gave me a chance to catch up with Estella. Being at a place in my life that I really don't care if I have the same ridiculous haircut as my three year old. A delicious potluck dinner at Daniels’s friend’s house. #100happydays

Day 17: Things that made me happy today: [Saturday] Danielle taking the kiddos in the morning so that I could go for a longer ride up to Pedaler’s Fork with Reeven and Hilary. The neutral support guy on a motorcycle for the Westlake Century who gave us cold water bottles filled with electrolytes. A blissful two hour nap with Oliver in the afternoon. Hiking back into the same mountains with him that I just cycled on earlier. Setting up camp and getting ready to make a backpacking boil-in-a-bag meal and Oliver asking if it was “bougie” mac & cheese. How thrilled Oliver was to find a scorpion and a black widow on our night hike and how he calls them “score-pans” and “black weedows”. Feeling the temperature drop and zipping up our sleeping bags. #100happydays
