Ya girl is living her BEST life! We got some Buxton BBQ this weekend and it was to diiiiiie for. But I think if you ate too much, you actually would die.... and it would be worth it. We indulged in the Whole Hog BBQ and Hash Plate, which came with pulled pork, pork gravy, rice, cornbread, green beans cooked in drippings, and potato salad. Everything is locally sourced and slow cooked. We also got a Cheerwine slushee, which was just Cheerwine (cherry soda) and bourbon. We’ll be back for pie
32 ounces of beer for $3.50? Yes please! This Mexican restaurant is housed in an old 50’s style diner (swipe left), which is the weirdest and coolest vibe ever. The food was delicious California style Mexican and the prices were unbeatable: I got sangria for 3.95, shrimp and fish tacos for 2.99 each and that giant platter of food for 10.99. Thanks Nachos & Beer!
How I really feel about living in an RV with Steve...
Just kidding!!! We love living in 200 sq feet together and have found that it has actually improved and strengthened our relationship over the past 2 years. Check out our new video in our bio to find out how we make it work in such a small space. It’s not all fun and games, especially when you can hear each other
We love finding cool towns where we least expect them. After work, we came down to Spartanburg to check it out. It’s clear this town is going through a revitalization as empty store fronts are quickly being replaced with sushi joints, Mexican tapas restaurants, and craft beer bars. Who knew you could find so much in western SC? We are loving this area and can’t wait to explore even more this weekend! Here is fr8yard, a beer garden with a street food selection. Check out our story to see the Mexican tapas we indulged in after
Ok Greenville, we see you this little city was not on our radar at all, but we needed a stop in between Atlanta and Asheville. We were not disappointed by this town that reminds us of San Antonio with a Carolina flair. There’s some big growth going on here and we are so happy we stopped. We might even stay longer
Happy cozy Saturday! We keep heading north but the warm weather isn’t following us. It’s still warmer than being home, but I’m missing 75 degree beach days. We made it to South Carolina today and are excited to check out some new places like Spartanburg and Greenville! But until then, we cuddle and blast the heat
Last week was a doozy. We got a flat tire, I got sick, and we lost our main internet source. All of this has been resolved (except a scratchy throat), but if you’d like to hear more about it, check out the video in our bio or the post on hungryfortomorrow.com. Today I picked the camera back up for the first time in too long to bring you guys on one of the coolest days we’ve had in a while. Stay tuned to see the fun that’s ahead
Georgia... Georgiaaaa, why have you brought us such bad luck? We left Florida and got a flat tire on the fiat (which if you watched our story you know was a saga and a half) and now I’m sick (again) with some type of throat infection. We haven’t posted anything lately because we are just trying to deal with all the bad luck coming our way. Let’s hope this is the last of it so we can actually enjoy Atlanta! Sorry for the radio silence
"How does one peel a shrimp?" He quietly puzzled. Yesterday was our first ever seafood boil! Being on the gulf coast, we opted for gulf shrimp with Cajun boil, bro spice, Cajun butter, and hush puppies. We could not finish the 1 lb of shrimp, but we tried our darndest. Deliciously spicy and salty, would eat again
