On days when I feel small and insignificant, I remind myself of the beauty of nature’s handiwork. This photo was taken deep within the crystal heart of one of Iceland’s magnificent ice caves. You can’t help but to tell overwhelmed when you’re in such a creation Can you imagine yourself exploring something like this? I have a few spaces left on upcoming winter photo tours, where you’ll be able to photograph these beauties. More info at link in my bio
The abstract landscape of the Icelandic Highlands reflects diversity in all its forms and shapes. Extending over 40,000 square km, it is one of Europe's largest unpopulated areas, located along the Mid-Atlantic Rift Valley where tectonic plates meet. This barren and beautiful part of Iceland is full of volcanic desert and steaming geothermal activity. For me, it is truly like a paradise unexplored
Flying over the elegant river systems of Iceland as they flow through black volcanic sand This bird’s eye view is exhilarating, as you get to see the intriguing combination of colours, patterns and lines. The vast majority of rivers in Iceland originate from the country's glaciers and for centuries, the runoff has carved itself through the young landscape, sculpting valleys, cliffsides and mountain ridges.
Peering into the fiery depths of hell Have you ever seen a volcano this close? Iceland is home to over 130 active and extinct volcanoes, and has four large volcanic zones. No matter how long you spend exploring, there’s always something new to see. Join me and my team at Iceland Photo Tours on the adventure of a lifetime! More info at link in my bio
Flowers always make me feel happy, especially yellow ones Do you have a favourite flower?
It’s currently winter here in Iceland and although I love the snow, I am already looking forward to endless nights chasing the midnight sun. Would you like to come on a photography tour with me? More info at the link in my bio
