I drunk made the @alisoneroman cookie dough last weekend and only put 100g chocolate in it then left it in the fridge all week because I was preoccupied by my bday pancakes. Finally baked them today though and they still gooood ♀️ but I do wish they had that missing 68g of choc chips . Does drunk cooking/baking ever go right!?
VEGAN MOLTEN CHOC CAKES FOR 2 (recipe link in profile) // I knooow that molten choc cakes are the bait dessert for v-day but umm hello that’s cos they’re delicious (and one of my all time favourite desserts). This vegan-ised version was requested by a follower a few months ago and I’ve perfected it just in time for Valentine’s! I mean if you’re not into the v-day thing, just eat both urself ♀️
OKAY so my birthday next week is ON THE SAME DAY AS PANCAKE DAY. Yes it’s true, I’m going to officially fulfil my destiny to be a birthday pancake queen . My plan is to eat many different types of pancake all day but the biggest question is what will my birthday CAKE be?? Should I go the classic route of a crêpe cake OR a buttermilk-blueberry layer cake with maple frosting OR something else??? Gimme your best PANCAKE THEMED CAKE IDEAS 🧠

30 MINUTE NUTELLA COOKIES (adapted from @food52) - needed a quick dessert to mix up last night and ended up with these chewy dudes . Recipe below (gram measurements in the comments)
• 3/4 cup Nutella • 1/4 cup almond butter
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 egg
• 3 tbsp cocoa powder
• 1/2 cup plain flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• Maldon salt for sprinkling
Mix Nutella, almond butter, sugar, salt and egg in a large bowl until smooth. Mix in the flour, cocoa, baking soda well.
Chill dough for 10 minutes - meanwhile preheat oven to 350F (180 C). Scoop heaped tablespoons of dough, roll into balls, place on baking tray lined with baking paper (these spread a lot so space a few cm apart). Sprinkle with Maldon salt Bake for 8-10 minutes until dry on top and crackly.
TREE STUMP CAKE with vertically striped layers!! And I’ve finally found a way to decorate cakes which I don’t mind doing - fake succulents & sugar paste mushrooms how easy and CUTE can it get?? Made this for xmas on Monday but I think I’ll be remaking as it was a) hella delicious and b) so much less stressful than a layer cake to make♀️ (decoration inspiration from @marthastewart & @mollyyeh)
You’ve had carrot cake before, but maybe you should try PARSNIP cake ! (with a cream cheese glaze ) . Managed to get fresher’s flu which then turned into laryngitis so I couldn’t talk all week. The worst thing has been losing my sense of smell (and therefore ability to taste anything! ) but it’s slowly coming back thankfully. Gotta say I did the classic ‘google ur problem’ and read stories about ppl losing their ability to taste for years after viral infections . That freaked me out.
