Week 1 of Phase 3 is done and I’m so excited to see how this Phase continues!! I’ve been so sore but strong at the same time!! This program has been fantastic. Self care is so important. This can be in many different forms. It can be a few minutes to meditate, read/listen to a personal development book, paint your nails, take a bath or maybe treat yourself to a spa day!! .
I got to treat myself to a day at CDA resort spa. I got a lavender scrub, mineral bath, massage and a pedicure. It was seriously amazing!! .

These week has raised a bunch of emotions, I feel like I’m starting over and feeling like a badass in all the same moment. These moves are seriously difficult but I’m not giving up. I’ve been sore everyday and know I’m getting stronger every week. Do you want to feel this way 60 days from now? I have my next challenge group starting on Monday!! The left picture is day 1 of the program I’ve been doing and right picture is today. There is almost 60 days in between these pictures and I see the difference.
If I was to go off the scale, I would actually be 1.5 pounds heavier now.
Taking pictures, recording measurements and using the scale are all form of tracking and all should be used. They help me know that I’m so ill going in the correct direction. Even if it’s slow, it is still steady!! .

Confession: I woke up to my alarm, I put on my workout clothes and I pushed play and my least favorite workout of this program. I got to about 30 minutes in and my thumb and pad of my hands were killing me from all of the “animal” moves. I had to stop. I was disappointed in myself. I hate giving up, I’ve made it this far... I felt like a failure. But I had to remind myself that it is ok to stop when thing hurt, it is not ok to push through or you will hurt yourself. This is a reminder to me and you that you need to listen to your body. Next week I will sub out this workout for something similar but I won’t be doing cardio flow and I’m ok with that.

Can I say how much I love my new outfit?!?!
I’ve always bought my workout clothes for under $30, I thought that I needed quantity over quality. And I never thought that $100 pair of leggings would be worth it, they would fade... rip or be se through. .
But I am changing my tone, Athleta made some seriously fabulous clothing. These leggings are the perfect fit for high rise and the material is buttery soft. I was super worried that sweat would be an issue but it lasted really well!! No tugging, no pulling, just super flattering. .
The top is also athleta, and it is UPF 50 and the back is open and can be tied up or a little more slowly!! .

I made my vision board for 2018!! This was so much fun, got a group of women together... a bunch of magazines, scissors, great conversation and snacks!! It was crazy how I was drawn to each picture and how each picture was related to the other. Have you made a vision board? What are your goals for 2018??
So today was gorgeous, the sun was shining, the snow is melting and I didn’t even need a coat!! .
This reminds me that spring is right around the corner which means summer is right there too!! Shorts, tank tops and the fun swimsuit!!
I’m so glad that I made the leap and started this journey but it’s hard to know that at the time. I talked myself out of it many times and almost wanted to fail to say “told you that wouldn’t work” but it didn’t. I lost weight, I lost inches but really I gained my self esteem back. I needed a win to keep me going. .

Last Triple A workout of Phase 2 and I seriously can’t believe that I’ve stuck with this. Usually I get bored, or off track and will just stop. I’ve seriously love this program and the amazing group of women that have been keeping me accountable. It’s crazy to think that I might have stopped if I didn’t have these girls to keep me in check.
