Splashy is waiting for his final zipper! They all are, actually! I'm just super slow because I had a busy weekend! We bought a house πŸ‘πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

I know I shouldn't but I may have picked a favorite πŸ™ˆ. I imagine she is shopping at @homegoods because that's what my cart always looks like when I'm shopping there πŸ˜‚ #minisewtogetherbag #tashanoel #vintagemarketfabric #rileyblakedesigns

I'm working on cutting out a bunch of mini sew together bags today! Now to buy all the zippers 😰

7πŸ’¬

Channeled my inner Joanna Gaines today and made a bay leaf wreath (say that 5x real fast). Believe it or not, I may have gone through more glue sticks than bay leaves πŸƒ...and my trigger finger is sore πŸ˜†

Completely inspired by @redrainbootshandmade, since I don't have my sewing machine and accessories set up right now, I'm painting my blocks instead 🎨 #minibarnquilt #barnquilt #barnquilts

One more for today! As you can see, these are fast to make πŸ˜‚ #pixiebasket

And another! I changed the shape of this one a little by cutting my corners at 2.5" instead of 3" #pixiebasket

2πŸ’¬

Have you guys seen the new #pixiebasket tutorial from @fabricmutt?? It is the cutest, fastest scrap buster ever!! Thanks, Heidi!!

Combining two of my favorites, #vintagemarketfabric and #minisewtogetherbag 😍

9πŸ’¬

Just finished the MINI version of the #sewtogetherbag from the tutorial by opquilt.com!! Why are all things are cuter when they're smallerπŸ˜‹

Done! And a bonus that it matches my hour basket! (Aaaaand my shirt may match as well - ahem - I guess you know my favorite colors 😏) #tashanoel #vintagemarketfabric

After my last hour basket I got stuck on that #vintagemarketfabric from #tashanoel 😍. Now I'm attempting a notebook cover to make meal planning and grocery shopping lists more fun!

5πŸ’¬

I finally got a few minutes to sew, but it needed to be quick and easy so it didn't turn into another wip 😰, so the #hourbasket for the win! #thimbleblossoms #hellodarlingfabric

I'm selling my Posy stash 😒. I'm so sad to let it go, but I need to be realistic about my stash. The little stack is a layer cake that I folded to display on my shelves (I can unfold them but I didn't save the packaging), the pink circle fabric is 1.5 yards, the purple bunnies and green weave are each 1 yard, the folded fabrics to the right are fat quarters (8 total), and a few short scraps from a jelly roll. This makes a total of:
1 layer cake
2 1-yd cuts
1 1.5-yd cut
8 FQ $100 shipped, please leave Paypal to claim.

Wow. I'm so sad to say that every single one of these quilts in my #2015bestnine has been left unfinished πŸ™πŸΌ. Life got so crazy last year and homeschooling has taken every extra second that I have. This winter I have a goal to dust off my sewing machine (yes literally) and get these WIPs knocked off the list!

Any #heatherross lovers out there? These were left over from my jar cozy sale and would make a great stocking stuffer! But they need to ship asap! If you're interested just leave your Paypal and zip code! $15 + ship

19πŸ’¬

I'm ready to list πŸŽ‰! If you are interested in purchasing, please read the post before this one! To claim I need your Paypal address, zip code, and for you to specify jar or no jar! I have some pretty big favorites in this round and can't wait to see them go to good homes ☺️. Listing in about 30 minutes!

4πŸ’¬

At the risk of losing a few followers, I'm going to blow up your feed again and list some jar cozies ☺️! So here's my dilemma...last time I shipped these it was outrageous to ship the jars! So while I'm happy to do it, I'm going to leave it up to you guys! The price on these will be $15. If you want the jar and accessories I will throw that in for free, but know that you will have to pay quite a bit more in shipping (I think the highest last time was someone out west and it was about $10 😳). Otherwise I will ship first class and it should be between $2-$3! Any questions?

14 Half yard cuts plus one extra yard of chevron for a total of 8yds $50+ ship

Time for a destash!! My sewing space gets so rarely used now that school is in session and my fabric is getting dusty! Time to clean out so I'm not so overwhelmed when I DO have a minute to sew! Leave Paypal and zip code to claim - I will ship cheapest way, from first class to priority. A lot of these I'm doing by WEIGHT instead of measuring each piece, so feel free to ask questions if you need specific measurements. If you ask a question that doesn't hold the item! It will go to the first Paypal address! Thank you!!

22 FQ's Marmalade (no duplicates) $110 + shipping - the four pieces in the middle are at least a FE but less than a FQ so those are in addition to the 22 FQ's

6πŸ’¬

I'm selling off my marmalade stash 😒. I'm just not finding time to sew much now that school is in full force, and I *think* it's the right thing to do. It is priced a little above retail because I paid way to much for it to begin with 😣 so I'm just trying to get my money back on it! I'll offer it to my followers first, then I'll add the destash hashtag if it doesn't sell by tomorrow!

Has everyone had their busiest summer ever?! We sure have and seems like it has been for everyone I've compared notes with! Our best friends got married and the whole family was involved. It was such a beautiful day and @ambusz12 made the most beautiful bride. Now it's time to relax and enjoy the last week of summer 😒 #babcockpartyof2

12πŸ’¬

QUILTING QUESTION: what are you supposed to do when you've pressed all your blocks and then you lay them out and find that your seams don't line up right? Do you repress? What if it's not the long seam - do you clip ends and then just press that one seam? Does any of this make sense??

I recently downloaded one of @valeriewieners hand lettering books and have SO enjoyed playing around with fake calligraphy! Anybody have any tips for me? Favorite pens/paper/tutorials/etc? Share your secrets!
