A diver's sharp eye was able to catch a venomous stingfish disguising itself as part of the sandy seabed in the Gulf of Aqaba, between Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Known as the two-stick stingfish (Inimicus filamentosus), the sea creature would use its camouflage to ambush unsuspecting prey. However, it would also display its colorful fins as a warning to potential predators. Diver Vital Bazarov stated that it was unusual to spot the stingfish during the day since the species are normally active at night.

This crab is living in a sea cucumber's butt. In essence, you're looking at the crab's front door. Small crabs often live in and around the sea cucumbers' anus or mouth, where they feed. A relationship like this - between different species - is known as symbiosis.

Laying underneath large piles of bison poop in the plains of Colorado are some of the most beautiful insects that you may ever see. Rainbow scarabs, a type of dung beetle native to North America, are notable for their metallic, emerald green exoskeletons, and they play an important role as recyclers of animal excrement in the Great Plains ecosystem. Dr. Frank Krell, curator of entomology at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, goes into the field to study the decline of the region's dung beetle populations and whether reintroducing bison herds to the area may mean a comeback for this gorgeous, poop-eating species. β€’

This snail is one of the ocean's most terrifying predators. The geographic cone snail is highly venomous. It can release a potent form of insulin, causing its prey to go into hypoglycemic shock. But the scariest part is how it eats. The snail "net" feeds, engulfing sleeping fish with its retractable mouth. Once inside the mouth, the fish is quickly subdued. Frightening and fascinating!

A marine biologist captured footage of a green sea turtle enjoying a stinging meal - a jellyfish. Jellyfish paralyze prey using neurotoxins in their tentacles, but the turtle does not seem to be affected. It closes its eyes and uses its flipper as a shield from the jellyfish’s stinging tentacles. Green sea turtles are endangered. Their main threat is overexploitation of eggs from the beaches they are laid on. Green sea turtles are predominately herbivorous, but juveniles have been known to feed on jellyfish.

#ThirstyThursday | Video by @alexbraczkowski | I filmed these chital (also known as spotted deer) in Sri-Lanka's #yala national park with @stevewinterphoto. These females get to about 45 kilograms in size and are easy to spot by their gorgeous white spots and high pitched alarm yelp! They're also the favorite food of leopards in many parts of India and Sri-Lanka. Yala National Park is one of The Asian sub-continents hidden gems and a place where you can see everything from bears to marine turtles, and just a few meters apart (the jungles meet beach!)
Visit @kulu_safaris today and they'll get you some incredible sightings!

Three baby raccoons befriend a fisherman at a creek in Wooster, Ohio. The extremely playful critters crawled on top of the man and followed him around. Encounters between wild raccoons and humans are common throughout the United States, but what makes this scene heartbreaking is the possibility that baby raccoons are orphans. A second fisherman who came upon the scene not only fed the raccoons a dead fish, but built them a shelter near where they were found.

A larger than life experience with hammerheads in Costa Rica @filipe_deandrade and the Untamed crew are out filming in Cocos Island, an island 340 miles off the coast of Costa Rica. A national park that protects 12 nautical miles radius of its sea life, its no wonder this Pacific Ocean paradise is host to one of the most pristine marine ecosystems in the world. Home to more than 1700 marine creatures including sharks, whales, rays and fish, it's an island of oceanic beauty that reminds us what our oceans should look like before overfishing and pollution. A wildebeest calf had a case of mistaken identity when it mistook a car for an adult wildebeest. After becoming separated from its mother, the calf started following cars along a nearby road. The calf may have started shadowing the car since it was a large moving object, an instinct it follows in the herd. It even tried to suckle on one of the car’s tires. Eventually the calf made its way back to its mother.

Explore two very different wildlife ecosystems that are both surprising and rich with diversity. Tibet, dominated by a vast high altitude plateau, is home to animals that have evolved to cope with the thin air; from the great bovine, the wild yak, to snake that can only live in volcanic springs. While, Yunnan, a lush subtropical paradise, has perhaps the greatest diversity of all of China’s regions. It's home to the nation’s only elephants, as well as the highest living primates on earth, the bizarre snub-nosed monkeys.

Video by @alexbraczkowski filmed with @stevewinterphoto. Throwback to when I found myself waist deep in a river with 30 toque macaque monkeys. These guys live on the island of Sri-Lanka and are some of the most relaxed monkeys in water. The word "toque" refers to a hat worn in Europe in the 13th-16th centuries, and they were given the name because of their little fringes of hair which do look like little hats! Although these monkeys are found around Sri-Lanka (there are three sub-species), they have been classified as endangered on the IUCN Red List, mainly due to habitat loss across the island! These guys are so awesome they were the subjects of a recent @disneynature film called Monkey Kingdom. Shot with @stevewinterphoto and @kulu_safaris
Visit @kulu_safaris and Yala National Park to catch a glimpse of these incredible monkeys! Try get to the Gem River in the park around mid-day when the sun is up and the leopards are resting in the thickets. Just remember to guard your lunch, these guys are feisty!

Photo by @filipe_deandrade Eyelash vipers are some of the most aesthetically striking creatures in the animal kingdom. They come in a wide range of colors with green and yellow being the most common. As pit vipers, they rely on a "sixth sense" while hunting. Heat pits located just under their eyes allow them to detect prey with a body temperature higher or lower than the surrounding environment. Beauty and precision all in one.

Every morning before the crack of dawn, about 20 wallabies and a couple of Eastern grey kangaroos gather on a sandy beach in Cape Hillsborough, North Queensland. We filmed these guys sunning themselves, scrapping over some food and enjoying a snack. Cape Hillsborough has become famous for its beach loving kangaroos and wallabies which feed on seaweed, small seed pods and a seed mix. Kangaroos and wallabies are found everywhere from mangroves to commercial cattle farms, but seeing them on a beach is a little rarer. You can see this behaviour in west Australia, north Stradbroke island and here in Cape Hillsborough!

Ever seen kangaroos on the beach?! Well at Cape Hillsborough in the north of Queensland you can see Eastern grey kangaroos and whip tail wallabies enjoying a seaweed breakfast every morning. These guys are up bright and early before 6:00 am and they congregate in a group of about 15-20 individuals. With that golden light sightings like this are truly special!
