How is the cold weather coming back ?! We are so ready for spring and warmer weather now! So we’re comfort eating the cold away with this Nush take on Mac and Cheese. Brown Rice Penne pasta, Natural Nush mixed with garlic, nutritional yeast, apple cider vinegar, salt and pepper before adding peas and combining well. Sprinkle with nutritional yeast and bake in the oven for 10 minutes so get the top crispy. So good and so comforting on this cold Saturday!
Who needs some #wednesdaymotivation? Apparently one cup of almonds contains the same antioxidants as a cup of green tea? That's why we produce our own almond milk using just Almonds and filtered water. We take Toast Tuesday’s to another level at Nush! our Almond M•lk and Cashew M•lk yogs are perfect for topping your toast for that light and creamy taste like @peachypalate has here with her corn bread slices 🤩. What would you top yours with?
4 to 8 servings *8 inch baking tray lined with baking paper
*120g polenta @bionaorganic
*120g buckwheat flour @freeefoods *40g coconut sugar @nuanaturals
*125g apple puree *250ml unsweetened almond milk *2 tbsp (14g) milled flaxseed @linwoodshealthfoods *1 tsp baking powder
*1/2 tsp baking soda
Preheat oven to 180C (350F).
Mix together flour, cornmeal, baking powder, soda and flaxseed.
Mix together coconut sugar, almond milk and apple puree.
Add wet to dry and mix well to combine.
Pour into prepare tin, spread evenly and baking for 30 mins in the preheated oven. Allow to cool before slicing.
I used 1/4, sliced off the top and toasted up the chunky slice for the toast pictured!

We're missing Pancake Day here at Nush today; can you believe it was three weeks ago? If like us you think pancakes should be celebrated every damn day then check out these pancakes by @missnutritionist using our delicious natural Nush.
For this dreamy stack you'll need;
1 cup of Natural Nush (Cashew or Almond)
1 cup of @plenishcleanse almond milk
1 cup of gluten free flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp @proteinworld coconut oil for cooking
1. Whisk all of the ingredients together until they are well combined
2. Heat a pancake pan on a medium heat, make sure the pan is hot enough before you start pouring the mix in
3. Grease the pan with 1/2 tsp coconut oil and begin by pouring 1/4 of the batter into the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes, flip and fry for another two minutes.
4. Serve and top with your fave toppings and plenty of Nush of course
Spice up your Meat Free Monday's with this Sweet Potato and Butternut Squash Laska recipe using out almond yog to make it super creamy and tasty.
- Sweet Potato -Small Butternut Squash
- Spring Onion - Coconut Oil - 400g Tin of Chickpeas - 2 Chilies
-3 Cloves of Garlic - 3cm of ginger - 500 ml of Vegan Stock - 350g of Nush Natural Almond or Cashew - Fresh Coriander - 2 handfuls of fresh spinach - Salt and pepper to taste
- Heat the coconut oil in the pan and add the spring onion, chilies and ginger before adding the sweet potato and butternut squash. - Add the stock and let it bubble away until soft - Add chickpeas, Nush, spinach and season to taste - Serve with more Almond Nush and sprinkle some coriander on top.
The only breakfast we’re interested in on #Bananacreampieday is these banana cream sundae pots by @peachypalate ...because dessert for breakfast on a Friday is totally okay right?! For the Base *60g oats
*20g @nutmost activated maple walnuts
*20g maple syrup
*1 tbsp almond milk
Peanut Butter Caramel *40g @meridianfoods crunch or smooth peanut butter
*20g @meridianfoods maple syrup
*1 tsp (4g) coconut oil melted *Pinch of Pink Himalayan Rock Salt
Layers *2 tubs @nushfoods banoffee almond yogurt
*1 medium banana slices
*1 square dark 85% chocolate grated *2 tsp maple syrup for drizzling
*2 to 3 tbsp @nushfoods vanilla cashew yogurt
Mix together all base ingredients. Divide between 2 to 4 jars or ramekins.
Place in the fridge for 10 mins.
Meanwhile mix together peanut butter caramel ingredients. Divide between ramekins.
Place in the fridge until serving.

So we’re kicking start the month with this light and fruity bowl of our blueberry almond m•lk yog with a warm blackberry compote and a spoonful of PB to finish it off! Hope you’re all keeping warm .
It’s not a soufflé but we thought a chocolate fondant would be just as good to share on #nationalchocolatesouffleday. We used @livias_kitchen ‘s fondant recipe and whipped up some chocolate cream to serve with it 🤩! It’s SO good!
For the cream you’ll need
350g pot of Cashew Nush Natural
3 tbsp of Cacao
1 tbsp of Maple Syrup (optional)
Whip the Nush with the cacao which makes it so thick and mousse like before adding the sweetener if you wish to. GAME CHANGER!

Dessert for breakfast has got us like ...Cherry Pie inspired waffles today for #nationalcherrypieday ; so delicious and indulgent using our Natural Almond Yog and some @loving_earth chocolate to serve 🤩. 300g Raw Activated Buckwheat Flour (we used @rudehealth)
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of Salt
300ml Nut Mylk (we used @paleofoodsco almond mylk)
2 tbsp of our Almond M•lk Natural Yog (and more to serve)
2 tbsp of Maple Syrup
1 tsp of Vanilla extract
Coconut oil for cooking
Combine dry ingredients and mix together thoroughly.
In a separate bowl combine wet ingredients and whisk together before pouring to the flour mix.
Heat waffle pan and begin making waffles until mix runs out (should be 6-8). Melt some @loving_earth chocolate and drip on top of waffles, crumble walnuts, add cherries and spoon some Nush on to finish.
